The chalet is in a really calm and beautiful setting, and it's nicely laid out overall — we had high hopes for our stay.
Unfortunately, a couple of issues affected our experience. The neighbours above (same owner) were very noisy at night, including a creaking bed and furniture being dragged across the floor. My parents, who were sleeping in this bedroom, could not sleep well the first night. When we mentioned it during our stay, we were told there's already a note about the apartment above — but nothing seems to have been done about it, so it might be worth actually following up on that, or at least replacing the squeaky bed upstairs.
We also found that the bed in the second bedroom was broken (collapsed slats — see photos). Fortunately, it was only me sleeping alone in this bedroom, so I could sleep on one side of the bed. The owner wasn't aware of this when we reported it, so at least that part was new information — but we didn't hear anything back afterwards about it being fixed.
We followed up again after checking out to ask about these two points and about a possible gesture (like a discount on a future stay), but unfortunately got no response at all after our departure. Disappointing, since the location itself really had potential.
