I think our 10 yr old son had the best time of all! With all the women he was traveling with, he enjoyed morning fishing off the dock, afternoon family kayak trips on Lake Dardanelle and evenings around the campfire! It felt like we had gone back to grandma's cottage on the lake and we enjoyed the old fashion simpleness of a weekend away to spend time together and visit family in the area. Thanks for the great setup and thinking of all the little things to make it an easy vacation. Also, much to our delight, the AC unit worked so good we woke up freezing the first night and had to turn it up!

Have stayed at Rollin & Lindas spot for the second time - we have enjoyed the fishing, closeness to water, the dock area, local parks, food and ease of movement to anything we want to do. Had a little rain this year but still got some fishing in and the weather was cool and not too humid for the end of May.Coming up from HOT Texas to meet and an old friend now living in St. Louis, this is a perfect spot for our get togethers. We love to fish, laugh and enjoy telling tales of our younger years.

My sister and I stayed for a week to hike the nearby mountains. The property owners were wonderful and extremely helpful. We had problems with little black ants that bite, but we were told that they were taking care of that. They left water and butter for us in the refrigerator. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large bed was too hard for my liking, but I bought a mattress pad so it worked out. The air conditioning worked great. The lake picture did not represent how the lake looks currently. There were so many lilly pads that we were not able to use the kayaks because of our own fear of flipping into the lake (for we do not have much experiencewith kayaks). The property was a convenient location for Petite Jean State park, Mt Nebo, Mt Magazine, and the Ozark St Francis national forest, and the hiking was fantastic. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
