The welcome, and the communal areas where nice. Our room was small, but adequate.
The shared kitchen was poorly equipped.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast - the room wasn’t especially clean, but it met with expectations for a youth hostel. I was quite worried about the late check-in. For a hiker, waiting til 5 pm is pretty late, but the staff will try to accommodate you if you give them notice.
