Villa Perla is a family home in a safe, quiet, and peaceful residential neighborhood. The villa was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds throughout. We enjoyed the lovely view of an olive tree and the surrounding fields from one of the upstairs bedroom. The windows and patio doors had screens and each room, including the family rooms, had their own split a/c units.
The large family area was the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring, or to plan our next adventure. The kitchen was also very well stocked with almost everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay.
Nikos, the owner, personally greeted us at check-in and welcomed us with ice cream popsicles—exactly what we needed after a hot day of travel! His hospitality and generosity truly stood out throughout our stay. We even had cleaners come midway during our stay, and Nikos brought us delicious Greek specialties, including local honey, mountain herbs for tea, mountain oregano, and pasta. These thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
One afternoon, we experienced a few hours without water at the villa due to rolling citywide shortages. Nikos was incredibly thoughtful and promptly brought us a case of bottled water, which we greatly appreciated.
The location was excellent, with local markets and everything we needed conveniently close by. The villa is only about a 10-minute drive from Nafplio’s Old Town, and there was plenty of parking, making it especially convenient to have a car.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Perla and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Nafplio. We would gladly stay here again!
