The host is very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help us get an unexpected flat tire replaced in the middle of an Italian holiday. Giovanni was so helpful and so kind. He speaks great English and has connections with local restaurants' and luckily for us, a mechanic.
The apartment is very modern and felt luxurious with comfortable beds and new appliances and furnishings. There is plenty of space for a family; we are a family of 6 and were very comfortable. We will definitely be going back for another visit. The parking was easy, the neighborhood is very tranquil, and the views of the mountains and village were a pleasure to take in.
The location is prefect for exploring the region with L'Aquila and plenty of retail 15 minutes away. Easy access to Gran Sasso National Park, Rocca Calascio, and many other little gems in the region. Within walking distance are restaurants, shops, a bank, and even a beautiful little lake, Lago di Sinizzio. The local roads are a cyclists paradise. We saw multiple several fox and other wildlife.
I wouldn't change a thing.
