Located in Smith Mountain Lake, this attractive condo for $114 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This 1 bedroom condo has been totally renovated and completely furnished with new furniture and appliances as of June 2020. It features new hvac, kitchen cabinets, quartz counter top, range, sink, refrigerator, bathroom cabinets, quartz counter top, commode, and a beautiful fully tiled shower. The living room features a queen size pull out sofa, lazy boy recliner, 50" TV with free wifi and a ceiling fan. The large bedroom has a queen size bed and a chaise lounge plus another 50" TV. The porch has a small table and two chairs from which you can watch a sunset over beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. From the entrance/deck you descend to the junior size olympic pool, kiddie pool,bathhouse and covered community picnic shelter furnished with gas grills. Another flight of steps takes you to the boat docks. The condo also comes with a boat trailer storage area and a boat launch area. There is a coin operated laundry available which is adjacent to the tennis and basketball court. The unit is within 7 miles to Westlake for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Halesford Bridge is about two miles further with its' marina, shopping an restaurants. Other nearby attractions are Smith Mountain Lake State Park with its beach, Booker T Washington National Monument and The National D-Day Memorial in Bedford.

This is a great condo right on SML. It is very clean, modern and well appointed. You can tell that the owners take pride in their condo. The unit is right above the marina and gave great views of the cove. Because it’s the off-season, the entire area was quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed. The owners were very good with communication and I’d highly recommend this rental. If we ever get back to SML, we’d definitely check to see if it is available.

Lovely decorated condo, super clean, full kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, ceiling fans, great view. Roger was very accommodating and quick with communication. And if you like TV, the variety of channels was astonishing!

Awesome communication with owner. Inside Condo was beautiful. Awesome private boat ramp and trailer parking. Even has private boat slip which is so convenient. Best part was the little porch with an awning looking out on the lake where the sun sets right in front of you. Will definitely stay again.

The condo was clean and nearly everything worked as intended. Never had Wi-fi and property owner was unable to get it corrected while we were there. Thanks to iPhones with hotspots we were able to access the internet, although slowly as the cell signal in the cove and condo was very weak. The TV was Roku based and without subscriptions to the various streaming services, was very limited and had no live TV at all. Other than those two glitches, the property was excellent and we definitely enjoyed our time there. SML is a fantastic place and we will be back.

Our overall impression of the property is that it is a great couples retreat. Staff cleaned pool daily. Grounds and unit were very, very clean. Internet was an issue during our stay, if you are working you may have to leave property to get internet. But GREAT in all other ways.

Very comfortable and nicely appointed condo at Stripers Landing. Stripers is a great place, not too big, but fantastic water views and everything you need. Our only minor issue was that the listing should be updated to reflect that the on-site laundry was closed in 2021. Definitely an option to consider if you're looking for a beautiful location and a great value at Smith Mountain Lake!

The unit is very cute and perfect for two people. I like that the covered entryway has a place to sit and take in a view of the lake. Extremely convenient to the pool, as well. The owner is very responsive to any and all questions before and during your stay. He made everything very easy!

The host was awesome and super responsive. The unit was clean and neat just as described in the listing. There was a neighbor who smoked a lot and it drifted into the unit but the host tried his best to make it right. Overall awesome stay.

My Girlfriend and I went for a long weekend to Roger’s condo. The property itself was perfect for just the two of us. With a spectacular view, and perfect location I could not recommend this property enough. I have stayed in quite a few properties on this and other sites and I must say Roger was one of the best hosts I have dealt with to date. His communication was always prompt and he truly went out of his way to make sure you had a perfect stay. If you are looking for a little R&R or on a fishing trip to SML Roger’s condo is perfect for a single or couple. I highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend. Smith Mountain lake is one of our favorite lakes to fish and visit. We loved this condo. Very clean and exactly as the listing described! On the outskirts but still close to plenty of the necessities. The condo had an amazing vew of the lake and was perfect for us considering we had a boat. My and I husband loved being able to take a short walk straight to the boat already on the water. Will definitely be back!

The owner communicated with use shortly after we booked. Checking in was very easy and the owners rental directions/information was very clear. The place was clean and very well maintained. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Our family had a wonderful, fun, relaxing and memorable experience celebrating my birthday! There are so many excellent restaurants to go to near by. We enjoyed seeing the breathtaking beauty of the lake during the sunrise and sunset from the living room and the porch! We are so grateful for everything you have done for us and specially for your flexibility and generosity with the check-out- time, we didn’t feel rush and appreciated it but, we still checked out by 11 AM. Everything about this vacation was exceptional from the easy booking, fantastic owners and communication to the location and everything included. The condo is perfect for two, the updates and decor are magazine worthy! The view is just spectacular and the amenities as well as friendliness of everyone there were second to none. Some great local restaurants as well! We will most certainly return!

The condo was very well kept and nicely decorated. We enjoyed time on the front deck and at the pool. The awning in the front was very nice as the sun gets hot out there! Communication with the owner was excellent. The only downside was that the laundry room is under construction, so we couldn’t use it. We enjoyed our time at the condo very much!

The condo was very very nice! We were with a group and had multiple people stay in the complex and our room was definitely the nicest. I loved all the remodeled updates and quality furniture. You can really tell the owners wanted to make it nice. It is small, but they made great choices with the space. It was also really clean when we got there. However, we were there 4 nights and on the 4th night, we came home and the entire bathroom was infested with little gnats. Pretty sure they were coming through the vents. They started showing up in the living room and bedroom too. It was really gross. The other thing was that it smelled like cigarette smoke. I don’t know if the smell was also coming through the vents or if it was from the previous renter, but it smelled. The place was really cute and the owners were very responsive when I had questions, but I don’t think I’ll stay again due to the bugs!
