Sotetsu Fresa Inn is my favourite chain express hotel in Japan. It is cheaper than Dormy Inn and has better infrastructure than other hotels like APA. The room is spacious for Tokyo standards, but small for North Americans. I think it more than enough, my way of measuring is how big a Japanese hotel room is just whether if I can open my checked bag completely in the room, and this one you definitely can, so it is big by my standard. Toilets are clean and modernized, (up to Japanese standards) and there are different amenities. What makes this one unique is it's location: it is close to JR Kanda Station, which is so powerful as it has both JK and JY lines, and you are basically one stop away from Tokyo Station, and you can reach other important stations like Ueno, Akihabara, and Shinbashi relatively quickly. You are essienally only 30 minutes away from Haneda Airport due to this insane location. Did I mention you are also 8 minutes walk away from Otemachi subway station??? It might be the best subway station in Tokyo with 5 different lines connections. This means that the two stations (one 5 minutes' walk away and the other 8 minutes away) can have 9 different transit lines for you to use. There are also plenty of food options nearby, and many local white-collar workers choose restaurants here. Furthermore, there are two convenience stores nearby, all about 3 minutes walk away. I wish I could've discovered this hotel early for Tokyo, as it is literally perfect for solo travelers like me who also relies on public transit.

Toilet seat was very small.
Air conditioning was a little bit loud even on low, but not enough to effect falling asleep.
