About this house rental
Nestled in Point Pleasant Beach, this charming house for $1,045 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. A single family Victorian house, recently painted throughout and hardwood floors restored, with a backyard hot tub to soak in. SIX houses to the beach. Located at the south end of the boardwalk, in Point Pleasant Beach. 8 beach badges included (6 adult & 2 children). Enjoy the ocean breeze while relaxing on the new Trex front porch. The porch is perfect for sipping your morning coffee, an afternoon nap, or happy hour drinks after a day at the beach. Watch the Thursday night fireworks without leaving the porch. Inside, you’ll be welcomed by the beautiful stained glass windows and a massive stone fireplace in the living room, the high ceilings, wood molding and original hardwood floors. It is decorated with a mix of Crate & Barrel modern along with some fun vintage finds. The living room has a 50” Roku TV with Netflix and cable. Enjoy the spacious, full size kitchen which includes: a stainless steel refrigerator w/ice machine, stove & dishwasher. There is also a microwave, toaster oven, full size coffee pot, along with a k-cup coffee machine, blender, an array of pots, pans, Pyrex and oven safe dishes. Off the kitchen is a mini fridge for additional beverages. Enjoy your delicious family dinners in the dining room with seating for 8. The table in the living room has additional seating for 8. (Both tables can accommodate 16 people.) There is a full bathroom with a stall shower on the first floor. Central AC/Forced hot air is throughout the house as well as free wireless high speed internet, including the front porch and backyard patio. Full washer and dryer are available for use in the basement. The 1st floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room & full bath with stall shower. On the 2nd floor there are 4 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. The house can sleep a max of 10 people. 2nd Floor: Bedroom 1 - (Up the stairs and to the left, at the back of the house): King Poster Bed with two large windows, one dresser, his & her closets, a ceiling fan, and TV with Roku. Bedroom 2 - (Up the stairs and to the right, at the back of the house): King bed with two large windows, one dresser, one closet, a ceiling fan, and TV with Roku. Bedroom 3 - (Up the stairs at the front of the house, on the left side): King Bed with two large stained glass windows, one dresser, one closet, a ceiling fan, and TV with Roku. Room is large enough for a pack & play. Bedroom 4 - (Up the stairs at the front of the house, on the right side): Bunk Bed room with a twin bunk bed over a full size mattress with a twin pull out trundle. Perfect for kids & tweens. The room has space to add a twin air mattress if needed. Two stained glass windows, one tall armoire dresser and one closet. Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Enjoy the evening air and go out back for some privacy. Relax in the 8 person hot tub! Take a hot shower outside in the outdoor shower! Enjoy a quiet evening eating dinner outside at the patio table which has 8 chairs. Use the burner propane grill for your delicious surf & turf dinner. There is a large shed available for use to store all your beach things (boogie boards, bikes, surf boards, kayaks, etc.). The property includes a driveway that allows ample space to park 3 cars in the rear of the house and leave them there for the duration of your stay. Street parking is also available during the day. A parking pass is required during the night (12:00 am - 4:00 am), two street parking passes are included with our rental. We are a few steps from the ocean, Jenkinson’s boardwalk, the rides, miniature golf, Hoffman’s Ice Cream shop, restaurants, and Stop & Shop. The recently updated park is just down the block along with basketball courts. Walk down Arnold Ave and browse the boutiques snd antique shops, grab a bagel or an iced coffee. Enjoy a lobster roll at Point Lobster or a “corny” lobster at Atlantic Offshore.

House was very close to beach, board walk and mini golf. House on a beautiful street with other Victorian homes. House is updated with modern kitchen and bathrooms. 9 people fit comfortably. Owner was very attentive to all our needs and questions. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time! The weather wasn’t great, but the house was big enough that the five of us had plenty of room to nap, work on a puzzle, watch a show and sit on the deck and read a book. The owners are wonderful! The location’s proximity to the beach and center of town is perfect!! We will be back…same time next year!

To not bury the lede, the property and hosts were both amazing and deserve 5-stars.
Our 3 day trip included the beach and boardwalk activities being closed due to bad weather, a construction accident nearby limiting access, and a few other bumps in the road.
So why was our stay 5-star? Because if we hadn’t booked this lovely home, our vacation would have truly been a nightmare. Instead, their spacious home allowed us to ride out the poor weather inside watching movies, playing games and cards, or in the hot tub in the back yard to simulate the ocean for the kids. We couldn’t do anything about the weather and other issues, so instead we were able to make our own memories there.
When you realize life and weather happen, even on vacation, the choice of rental matters, and we highly recommend staying here.

The house is huge and our multigenerational family loved it. The hot tub was amazing. The location is right by the boardwalk making it easy to go back and forth. Tara was also super responsive. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

This house was everything its listing claims it to be! Absolute perfect location - one block from the beach and boardwalk! You can easily access the beach without dealing with boardwalk traffic because the ramp to the beach is right at the end of the block from this home. The front porch and outdoor shower were absolutely spectacular and our favorite parts of the house! The beds were also really comfortable, which I think is unusual for a rental. Tara and Jamie were wonderful hosts, communicative and helpful!

We had 2 families and had plenty of space, with all of the amenities needed for an incredible week at the shore! The front porch was perfect for morning coffee, midday siestas and evening lounging. We loved the comfortable beds, games for kids, laundry supplies, and all of the kitchen supplies to make cooking easy - we felt right at home. The hot tub was a great addition, although a bit too hot during our stay. Another great perk were the beach chairs, umbrella and toys (remember to bring your own beach towels), and super easy access to the beach (plus free passes!). We loved our location being close to everything but also quiet and cozy. Tara and Jamery were fantastic hosts, with clear and helpful communication. We would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful weekend away!
The property is wonderful. The downstairs accommodated all of us easily. there are two large tables so we could play cards and all eat together comfortably. The bedrooms are all upstairs. I think three king beds are great and were great for us. All were comfortable. The hot tub was also nice to use and the grill was steps from the kitchen which was nice.
The front porch was a great place to enjoy morning coffee or to have a drink at the end of the day.

Sweet home by the beach
Absolutely wonderful staying at Tara and Jameys! They were in contact the entire time and always made feel like we weren’t bugging them if we needed anything. The house was very clean and great proximity to the beach and boardwalk. My 2 year old son handled it all so well and their home made his first trip to the beach amazing. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Our friends decided to brave the cold and covid and tie the knot in Point Pleasant. I immediately began to search for the perfect house. By perfect, I don’t mean flawless. I mean I want something with character, with a story. Something I can feel the owner put work into to give it a special edge. When I came upon this house, I immediately knew it was the one. It was a beautifully renovated home, with the thoughtful finishes and pieces lovingly selected to evoke the original time period but enhance the modern amenities the home offers. The hot tub was a greatly appreciated plus! The furniture was comfortable. The owners were very friendly and available. All in all, we were very happy!

Terrific off-season getaway down the shore
We were looking for a property walking distance to the beach and a hot tub off-season. This property delivered on both! The home provided plenty of space for our very small family of five at Thanksgiving! Great overall set up and amenities. Extra speedy communication with the owners as well!

Perfect Getaway
The house was just perfect for a week at the beach. Very close proximity to the beach on a nice peaceful street. The house was spacious with an open concept and fenced in backyard. House was spotless and we really enjoyed sitting on the front porch with the nice breeze. Tara was so helpful, during our stay the power went out for several hours and she reached out and offered to bring us a generator. I would highly recommend this house to rent
