About this cabin rental
A pair of handcrafted shepherds huts which host bedroom and living space with a French enamel log burner, dining area for 2 and t.v, which leads through to a fully equipped galley kitchen which then leads on to the other hut which is the bathroom which has an amazing steam shower for two ! Equipped with lights, bench, foot massage, steam maker, rainfall shower plus another shower head and various massage jets, bluetooth and fm radio. This shower unit also transfers into a steam room.
Outside there is your own private garden area, which has a Hot Tub with masses of jets and fountains - great fun, an enclosed fire pit with BBQ and garden furniture. The garden area is partially lawned and partially gravel and fully fenced. There is also a fishpond with fountain in the garden and a secret hidden deck that beckons for an evening aperatif while gazing over the countryside. A wonderful spot for early morning sunrises or stunning evening sunsets.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely private cabin for our anniversary getaway.Ruth was an exceptional host – friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She responded to our questions very quickly and kindly left us a beautiful hamper of treats on arrival, including some delicious homemade bread, which was such a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.The cabin is perfect for a couple looking to escape and unwind for a few days. The hot tub and spacious shower were ideal for relaxing, and Ruth also provided dried logs for the fire pit, which was a lovely bonus. We enjoyed cooking our evening meals on the grill and spending time outdoors in the large, completely private garden, complete with a beautiful pond. The secret deck was another highlight – the perfect spot to sit quietly and watch the sunrise or sunset.One thing worth mentioning - we had noticed a couple of the reviews mention that were was no WiFi - we were initially a little worried in case of an emergency - as we'd left the kids with my in-laws - however, whilst there is no WiFi, mobile data signal was just fine and so we were still able to easily communicate with the kids - so its not a problem at all! (And a good digital detox!)A peaceful, relaxing retreat with everything needed for a special break. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future.

Our stay here was brilliant. Ruth is a lovely host and really helpful. The shepherds hut was fabulous and the views from the garden and sunset stunning!

A wonderful few days in a beautiful part of the country. Highlights were winding down in the lovely hot tub followed by watching the sunset on the decking.

Location is great with lots to do nearby with a shop and good pub locally.The property was ok but needs some updating. The shower wasn't working properly when we arrived and was either boiling hot or scalding hot so didnt get much use. It was waiting for a part apparently which we were told as we were leaving. The drain was also blocked so the water didn't drain away which meant you couldn't be in there for long even if you wanted to as the bottom tray filled with water. It constantly had a big light on too so we had to keep the blinds closed. Don't lean on the bathroom sink as it moves. The bed was comfy but is high so might be an issue if you have low mobility. Sofa was nice and cosy and the blankets were a nice touch. The whole place is uneven (being at sea) and you can very much tell it was "homemade". The floor creaks everywhere so no sneaking for a quiet wee in the night. Lots of utensils and crockery in the kitchen and the small oven and hot plates worked for cooking. However the fridge is wonky and has a piece of wood above it so doesn't always shut. There is a lovely pond in the garden but it has a fountain in it that doesn't switch off so you can hear it all night. There is a rooster at the farm/house next door which woke us up at 5am every day and continued to make noise for well over an hour. The hot tub was great but noise restrictions from 9pm. Decking around the tub is loose as are the front steps. We were really disappointed in our stay. We wouldn't return.
