Lovely little house in a very handy location in Sedbergh, a good base for walking in the Howgills and surroundings. The decor was lovely and very homely and we were very comfortable and cosy even after lots of wet hikes. The kitchen was well-appointed and it was nice to have a bath as well as a shower in the bathroom. Sedbergh itself has nice independent shops and cafes so we had everything we needed on our doorstep.
In the ground floor bedroom the double bed is against the wall on one side and on the other side, even though there is space, there's a big slope jutting out from under the window plus some tacks poking out of the carpet so it's also hard to get out of the bed on that side. It was clear in the pictures of the property though so not unexpected.

This house is a real gem. Right in the middle of Sedbergh.
We loved it here. The house is beautiful, everything you need and more.

Location was central. Quiet and appreciated being able to make our owns meals and do laundry.
A bit too cluttered, mostly carpeted no not as clean as it could be. Cleaning materials and equipment were in the common areas. Didn’t need to be looking at the vacuum in the lounge area.
