If you are traveling to kyiv and war safety is a concern, I recommend it for 1) ground floor 2) across the street from the Taras Shevchenko metro stop which can serve as a bomb shelter (though not as deep or safe as the metro stations in city center). Outside of the safety issues I like the location as it’s across the street from said metro station so getting around on public transportation is a breeze. It’s also across the street from a wonderful cafeteria for inexpensive good and healthy meals. It’s on the edge of Podil so not as hipster as the old city part but plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. I also enjoyed my runs by the walkway on the Dnipro river and there is a good gym nearby. The fruit vendors and people are very friendly. I love Kyiv and Podil is special. As far as the apartment it is clean, the ac works wonderfully, as does the internet and hot water. Never met the host but they communicated promptly. Self check in and out was a breeze. Also the washer was a life saver.
Maybe bathroom a bit cleaner.

Зручне бесконтактне заселення. Розташування поруч зі станцією метро Тараса Шевченко. Відносна чистота та затишок.
У квартирі практикують сушку постільної білизни та рушників від попередніх гостей прям у житловій кімнаті. Через це у спальній зоні досить сиро та специфічно за ароматами. В умовах поки ще відсутностості опалення тривале провітрювання квартири досить складне питання. Тож від сирості позбавитись важко.
