Our cozy, approximately 60-square-meter vacation apartment is located in a quiet and private setting on the first floor of our historic, traditional Franconian vacation home in the old town center of Obervolkach—just 2.5 km from the lively center of Volkach.
Here you’ll find a place to stay with real character: creaking floorboards, charming, uneven ceilings and floors, and many family heirlooms create a cozy atmosphere where you can feel at home and relax.

As the proud owner of three wonderful livestock guardian dogs, I LOVE animals more than anything.
Well-behaved dogs (that don’t dig in the garden) and cats are not just tolerated here—they’re wholeheartedly welcome—and completely free of charge!

The Apartment in Detail (Ideal for 2–3 people, max. 4)

Living Room:
Cozy central space (open-concept room) with a Smart TV, a comfortable pull-out couch (140x200 cm, including a topper for optimal sleeping comfort), a large refrigerator with a spacious freezer compartment, and a wonderful view of the countryside.

Bedroom:
Separate, inviting bedroom with a cozy double bed (160x200 cm).

Dining Room & Sleeping Area 2:
Rustic, wood-paneled room in the attic with a separate single bed and a practical serving hatch to the kitchen.

Kitchen:
Small, well-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) with a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, egg cooker, hand blender, as well as coffee filters, tea, and basic spices.

Bathroom:
Small, functional bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Entrance Area & Extras:
Spacious entryway with a washing machine, clothes rack, and ironing board available for shared use.

For smokers, there is a covered area outside.

Access Information:
Separate access to the apartment is via a wide, 18-step outdoor metal staircase.
You can park your car for free and easily right in front of the courtyard gate or on the street.

The Surroundings
Enjoy the idyllic countryside of Obervolkach and the complete privacy of our property (there is another vacation rental on the first floor). In just a few minutes, you can reach the heart of Volkach with its historic alleys, excellent wineries, restaurants, and shopping.
