This cottage is by far the cleanest that I have ever rented. It is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Western NC Nature Center, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls and Mount Mitchell. The owner is so sweet and accommodating!

Great location & comfy house. The back deck was wonderful for dinner & relaxing after a day of exploring! The road was pleasant for taking evening strolls & nearby Charles Owen Park was a delightful way to start my mornings! I would stay at this cottage again although I would need a lesson on how to operate the TV & open windows (probably user error!!)!!

Our stay was nice and easy. There was plenty of room to have 5 separate beds with the trundle beds. It was closer to town than I thought it would be, but still in a peaceful setting.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great property and location, clean, comfortable, and the check in-and-out process was simple and easy. We also absolutely loved our dinner at Busch Farmhouse in Black Mountain. Fantastic food - you should definitely make time to give it a try!

We needed a place to stay close to Black Mountain without paying the Black Mountain prices that had everything we needed. We found it. It was our sons graduation and the last thing we needed was to worry about our stay. Plenty of room for my wife and our 2 adult children. If would sleep probably 6 or 8. It was very clean. Within a 5 minute drive to almost everything. The property had all the supplies we needed and had plenty of additional blankets and pillows. The owners were very polite and responded promptly. Thank you for helping us make ours sons graduation a pleasant one.

Stayed the coldest weekend with temperatures below zero. It was so cold that the lockbox outside was frozen shut. Called Nancy and they had someone there to let us in ASAP. Would definitely book again.

This lovely, spacious cabin was incredibly comfortable for our party of 5! We had two adults, two 18-year olds, and a 20-year-old. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and we ate almost all our meals there. All the appliances were current and worked wonderfully well. The beds all had SUPER comfortable memory foam mattress, so we all slept like logs! ;-) Everything in the house was labeled and easy to find and had instructions for use. It was a beautiful area, convenient to Black Mountain and Asheville with a fenced-in backyard for younger kids. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

When we travel and use VRBO we generally search for properties that are rated "clean" and are usually disappointed. This property is actually clean and well maintained. Whole house is very organized and instructions are clear and not overly complicated. Easy communication with nice owners. Easy to get on 70 or 40 to head in to Asheville or Black Mountain. We would stay here again.

This property worked well for my family and I. My brother-in-law has some handicap issues, but everything worked out just fine. There were no stairs to climb and plenty of room to maneuver. There is one suggestion, and that is that you let your guest know in advance that there is no bath soap, shower gel, or body wash. That way they will know to bring some with them. Thanks for everthing.

This property was perfect for our group. It was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. It was stocked with all necessities. It has 3 beautiful bedrooms, which sleep 6, and 2 full bathrooms plus a large kitchen, eat in area and washer and dryer. Very convenient location as well. Definitely recommend.

The scenery here is 10 out of 10--you're less than a mile from Ingles, gas stations, a brewery, etc. but since the house is located up a hill in a quiet neighborhood, you feel tucked away! Honestly everything about this spot is great; the only issue my friends & I had was with how loud the septic system is. Every time you flush, turn on a sink or shower there is a rather loud noise along with a vibrating grumble from below the house. During the day this is a non-issue but when people went to the bathroom overnight/early morning, it immediately woke me up and was hard to get back to sleep. I only say this to caution fellow light sleepers! Other than that, the spot is truly great.

Friends and I spent a last weekend at Cardinal Cottage and it worked well for us. The place is cute, clean and cozy. We were attending wedding festivities so we did not cook but the kitchen seemed well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and check in and out was a breeze.

Excellent little cottage. The Tv was dated and very hard to work. A lot of buffering and dark spots. However, as we don’t care for TV it wasn’t enough to upset us. 10:10 will stay again!
