Aircon: worked well! Very cold, perfect for the Italian Summer!!
Location: it’s fine, not in the absolute ‘heart of town’ but also not a huge walk. It is next to Basilica Santa Croce.
Room: it was small but as a solo traveller I didn’t need much more. Nice having access to a microwave, kettle, fridge and clothes drying rack!!
Not my most favourite accommodation during my Europe trip but certainly not the worse. I think for the price, it’s good value for money and would still recommend it with the below comments in mind.
Check in process: slightly odd check in process. You have to ‘book’ a time for the host to give you the keys. This can obviously be hard when traveling due to flight/train delays ect
Noise: the windows don’t really block out much noise, not a massive downside because Florence is so fun and you’ve likely done 20000 steps during then day so crash at night time!

De locatie middenin het centrum was erg prettig. Het zit overal dichtbij.
De deur op een voor mij niet prettige manier op slot. Hierdoor had ik geen veilig gevoel als ik op stap was. Bovendien was de kamer niet naar mijn wensen geisoleerd, waardoor de in de nacht veel herrie van de straat hoorde. Bovendien viel de inrichting van de kamer tegen.
