This place was the best! We had an amazing trip and it’s kind of isolated yet close to everything. Yosemite, Bass Lake, and shops were all nearby. The pool overlooking the valley was the best way to start and finish our day!!! The home itself had lots of room and included all we needed. Clean and very spacious. We loved our stay.

The views from this property are amazing. It is located up high with an overlook that is truly breathtaking at just about any time of day or night. But that is one of the only things we could really relish during our stay at this property. There were many, many problems, and it is very over-priced. They certainly have a good photographer and made the property look a lot nicer than it really is in real life. When we showed up it was simple to check-in using the electronic door lock, which was nice. Unfortunately the house was a sweltering 80+ degrees as they didn't pre-cool the home before we arrived. We then discovered that the air conditioning works very poorly. It circulates air well on one side of the house, but on the other side of the house (where three of the bedrooms are) the air does not circulate well at all. It was quite uncomfortable the first day and night while the AC tried to adjust. To their credit, the property management company did send out someone that very night to check on the system. The AC person simply told us that the AC system had a poor design, but that it would eventually work, and it eventually did, albeit poorly. Several other parts of the home didn't work: the electrical outlets in the master bathroom, the umbrella outside (which is on their main photo) is broken, several outside chairs are broken, several light bulbs were missing or burned out, etc. The cleanliness was extremely lacking. The home has many, many ants that crawl in the kitchen (sink, table, counter) no matter how clean you keep it. Outside in the pool and cabana area it was quite dirty when we arrived. The pool and "hot tub" were extremely dirty, and we had to work with the property management company to get the filter and vacuum working again. Some guests before us must have partied hard because there was plenty of leftover food on the ground outside, which attracted quite a few bugs and made it so that we couldn't even use the cabana area, which is a real shame. Overall this home is simply not well maintained - at all. Very poor attention to detail. If the home was quite a bit cheaper I would understand, but the price premium they charge should warrant immaculate upkeep both inside and outside. It's disappointing since this home has so much potential. The bedrooms and bathrooms were quite nice and comfortable. If this house gets an overhaul I would stay again, but at this price and condition it is definitely not worth it.
