This was a luxury holiday accommodation with stunning views minutes from beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Would definitely recommend
The only fault we had is that the wifi network and password displayed in the property was incorrect and different from the back of the wifi box so couldn’t get on the internet straight away. Minor problem.

Location was excellent, great views and easy to get round whitby. Comfy beds too would happily stay for a couple of days or a week or more.

The view and living room concertina opening doors.
We stayed at the property for only two days so the propertie’s arrival and departure times impacted our enjoyment . Therefore, if I were able to change something, then I would recommend the owners tighten up on their changeover/cleaning period. We could not see any reason why it should take six hours to complete this task. If better scheduling of the cleaning was put in place, then access to the property could happen earlier, for example, from 2pm (instead of 4pm) and secondary in importance would be to have the leaving time at 11am (instead of 10am).
So our recommendation would be to have a three hour changeover/cleaning period to clean the property (instead of the current six hours).

The view is lovely and the bedrooms are good sized. Location is good.
The house did not feel clean at all. The bathmat had brown stuff all over it. The downstairs bedroom stank of cigarettes. There were some black bin bags and sellotape just on the bedside table so I don’t think it was properly cleaned or tidied. It was also clearly unhoovered as it had big bits of rubbish under the bed. It was also not child friendly at all! There were no doors blocking any of the stairways. This meant the ground floor bedroom and living room had no barrier between them too so there was no sound barrier at all.
