Exceptional

Esther & Tom are delightful hosts. We loved our stay. Every detail from the linens, to wool blankets, to chocolates on the bed. The breakfast was delicious. The place is in walking distance to everything you would want to see in Napier. If you thinking of booking this place the answer is YES.

Sometimes you discover a place where a star rating simply isn’t enough.

Just A maz ING !!! What a treat to stay. A wonderful welcoming place in the centre of Napier. Close by the sea, the beach, the beautiful boulevard, the restaurants and the shops. It immediately felt like home. Esther and Tom are the most lovely hosts, you’ll may experience. Nothing is too much trouble, just perfect in every way. Esther has amazing home cooking and fresh baking available for the mornings and afternoon. They are also full of local knowledge and trivia, if you need any recommendation for visiting places in the area. The house and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Fantastic bathrooms with walk-in shower, heated floors and luxurious toiletries. So many lovely things are presented, like homemade cakes or cookies when you arrive back at home in the afternoon. Freshly made, fruit salads, cakes, jams, and bread in the morning with the choice of either cooked or continental breakfast. Drinking tea or wine in the afternoon with all sorts of freshly made nibbles. Port and chocolates at bedtime. We’ve stayed at many 5 star accomodations in the world , but this place is so much more…… Words fail us; you have to see and experience it for yourself! Therefore, we would encourage anyone visiting Napier in New Zealand to treat themselves to this quintessential experience. Our stay at this luxury accomodation, 415 Marine Parade was definitely one of the most memorable stays of our holiday in New Zealand. It was sad to move on, but we will definitely return to this place when we return to NZ. Esther and Tom, thank you for your generous hospitality. XXX R&B

Exceptional Accommodation

An exceptional place to stay. Beautifully refurbished property, amazing attention to detail, superb location, warm, friendly and generous hosts. Cake and tea on arrival and whenever you want. Wine and drinks served each night: all complimentary. Home baking for breakfast with different selection each day. Helpful suggestions for activities and help with making reservations. The rooms and bathrooms are fantastic and opening out on to the veranda via French shutters. We’ve been travelling for ten weeks now and 415 Marine Parade is accommodation not to be missed. Napier is also a place not to be missed.

Amazing Hosts and Amazing VALUE !!!!!!!!

We were so lucky to meet Ester and Tom, they are the best hosts and now friends!!!! They had other guest couples from Germany and two others from NZ at same time, so much fun time times to discuss so many topics (tried to avoid politics {;o))) ) . Again, they are amazing hosts; taking time in the evening to chat with us over a glass of wine. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with a really comfy bed & lovely... I love the details of the room and building, warming towel rack, beautiful details on room trim and tiles, everything was so very well detailed. Our experience was amazing with the host, guests, and the property. We had such an absolutely wonderful time with our stay. Best Stay in NZ for us!!!! 10 of 10!! Ester and Tom .... THANK YOU for the wonderful and amazing stay!!!

Unexpectedly good, thanks Tom and Esther

Here the hosts are exceptionally warm and friendly. Our room was well equipped, small details matter! Breakfast was enormous, fresh cooked and generous , the warm afternoon tea cake was exceptional. Well done hosts and thanks for making our Napier stay so comfortable.

There was some early evening traffic noise which stopped by 10. Location is very good

Perfect place to stay for a romantic weekend getaway!!

415 Marine Parade is THE place to book when you are feeling like a bit of pampering...Tom and Esther really know how to make you feel extremely welcome. From the moment you step foot inside 415, you can smell the fresh cut flowers and the delicious home baked treats that await you...be prepared to be completely spoilt with home preserved local summer fruits to start your breakfast! There is also a nice, sheltered deck to sit and relax while sipping on a complimentary afternoon refreshment and nibbles...total relaxation.

A perfect B & B in lovely Napier with warm and generous hosts.

The home is beautifully renovated with top quality fittings and furnishings. it is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was both generous and delicious. The hosts were simply delightful.

Superb

We absolutely loved everything about Tim & Esther’s bnb. They are amazing hosts ; taking time in the evening to chat to us over a glass of wine. Esther’s cakes are amazing . The bedroom was beautifully decorated with a really comfy bed & lovely en-suite. Their breakfast was the best ! They were even kind enough to lend us their electric bikes.

Something so perfect

Everything. From the warm welcome when you arrive and everything in between brfore you leave. Tom and Esther leave nothing to chance. The luxury items to the fresh breakfast's make this a must stay. Spotless fresh linen, modern bathroom, perfect sleep overlooking the beach while waves crash nearby. A beautiful experience overall that cannot be faulted. Freshly baked goodies provided daily as well as your sherry with chocolates. Thankyou from us both.

Highly recommended B&B experience in Napier

Lovely B&B experience. Tom and Esther were wonderful and friendly hosts and went out of there way to be helpful, make coffee, cooked breakfast etc. Lots of nice touches also, like Occitaine toiletries (free) in the rooms. We had a room overlooking the sea and were really happy. Short walk into town centre, really recommended

Nothing, it was perfect. Be aware though that the entire beach is stony, not sandy.
