What a place! This is a little slice of paradise. We stayed at the resort for nearly two weeks and had a fantastic time. It's hard to pinpoint any negatives since the entire experience was so wonderful. However, some areas could use a bit of freshening up, but the level of maintenance was good, and everything was functioning well.
Our relationship with the resort began long before we arrived, with follow-up emails providing details and additional information. The seamless airport pickup started it all, and it just kept getting better. The smiling staff at the reception welcomed us and were ready when we arrived.
The beach and pool were superb, and we truly enjoyed both. Unfortunately, there was a significant amount of plastic on the beach and in the sea, but that is hardly the hotel's fault. The food was excellent, featuring a lot of wonderful local seafood. Our favorite dish was clearly the grilled tiger prawns with prawn rice!
Depending on the number of guests at the resort, breakfasts and dinners were served buffet-style. When there were fewer guests, we ordered from a rich menu. Several horses and donkeys wandered around the premises, adding to the atmosphere, and the turtle sanctuary, where hatchings occurred on many days during our stay, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Finally, I must commend the staff, who can only be described as phenomenal! They were attentive, smiling, and always eager to help. This little slice of paradise has captured our hearts, and we would love to return!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant and security staff.
The views from the 3 bedroom apartment we had were beautiful and the pool areas are clean and well maintained. The flowers around the main pool are especially beautiful. The horses are a beautiful sight to see roaming the resort also, and it feels very safe.
Maintenance is a problem. Facilities aren't fixed when they break and upkeep of rooms and facilities is poor. For example, the apartment had several broken window shutters, the playground had broken swings and seesaw. The mini golf is looking very old.
The beach is unusable due to the amount of rubbish that completely litters it. I've never seen so much on a beach.
The food is very tasty but unbelievably expensive.
We chose a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen area was modern and clean, but nothing was provided to be able to use it - no cutlery, plates, glasses, pots. We asked about this and were told only mugs were provided. Had we known we would not have chosen this room type as it is pointless.

We loved the pools - a large chlorine and a smaller salt water pool overlooking the beach. The staff were very attentive and reception was brilliant at organising onward travel for us and getting us the best deal. The furniture at the property gives it real soul and style. The food was delicious - the owners are Lebanese so there was some great Lebanese food which we haven’t seen anywhere else in Ghana.
There is a trash problem with the beach. This isn’t unique to this property and a problem in other places across Ghana and I see they are trying to do what they can about it! I did not like the captive monkeys although the rabbit and birds were very cute.

Staff were superb although the restaurant manager struggled in some areas of customer service delivery.
The restaurant was pretty and the main pool was maintained satisfactorily.
The beach was not safe to walk on barefoot and no attempt to clean it was made while there.
Extraordinarily expensive food and drink for the quality on offer (my morning mango juice was fermenting and I noticed others hadn't finished theirs either), cutlery was tarnished, scratched and had rust spots, napkins had not properly laundered, bathroom fixtures weren't secured to the wall.
There's a lack of general maintenance and its obvious and the place is falling into disrepair.
If you mobility issues DO NOT come here as accessibility for people with mobility needs is non-existent.
Other on site pools were unsanitary, loungers were unkempt and often unclean. Cages for animals, tennis and volleyball nets all need repair. The monkeys need regular fresh water (their water was brown).
