About this house rental

Situated in Overland Park, this attractive house for $146 per night is a great choice for your next break. This 3 bedroom home has just been remodeled to be up to date like our other homes with this one being unique with it's own style. It is a ranch home with a two car garage and two bathrooms, and a huge fenced in yard. It has brand new hardwood floors throughout, new kitchen cabinets, and new windows in the front. Plus two fireplaces with fireplace glass. Of course since this is our newest VRBO, we have new bedding as well. The home has had walls removed to be open throughout the dining, kitchen and living areas. We have two sofas that were custom ordered from Floyd and also has two cream colored leather barrel chairs. The tv is a Smart TV with an antenna, connected to high speed internet and Firecast TV stick and dvr. It has all the local channels and you can also record and or connect to your favorite tv apps like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc. We wash all bedding between guests including quilts and mattress protectors. Our extra bedding like blankets are bagged so that we know they are clean and sterile. We wipe down high touched light switches and door handles with disinfectant. We provide lysol wipes and hand sanitizer. Plus sterile sponges and rags in the kitchen area. We provide contactless check in with our smart lock that we change the code for each guest. Our home is just 5 minutes off the highway near 67th & I35 for easy access north to downtown and the plaza or south. The home is only 1.5 miles from Shawnee Mission Medical Center for someone who might need to visit family that is being treated there. We are also only 8 miles from KU Medical Center. We are only 19 miles to Arrowhead Stadium or Kauffman Stadium. We have four other properties with three in Johnson County and the fouth one located in Fort Walton Beach, Fl right on the beach near Destin. We are considered super hosts and even though this place is new, we pride ourselves on this one to be just as comfortable and enjoyable as the others. Most of our guests come back and contact us to see if one of our other properties is not available to see if I can help them figure out if one of our other places will be just as convenient for their next stay. Please note: We have a ring doorbell that does record at the front door. We only use it for safety since we do not live there. We do not use it to spy on our guests. We will use it if we have a concern the way the house was left.

Great property with a big fenced in yard - wonderful for our fur kids! Having a garage was helpful, as well All the standard amenities made our stay easy and communication with owner was timely/responsive. Great location with easy easy easy highway access yet maintains a quiet neighborhood feel. We had events all over town and the commute was easy! Definitely recommend this gem!

The neighborhood was very nice, the house was wonderful! Close to everything. Very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable for all! We had everything we needed, state of the art appliances, everything to cook, and clean up. Host was easy to get a hold of, and answered my questions, and any concerns. My 2 little pups loved the fenced yard and enjoyed chasing the squirrels! Nice to have a garage to park in. Can’t wait to return,

This is an awesome house!! Very nicely decorated and had everything anyone would need. Nice big fenced back yard for our 2 fur babies. Great location! The host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions and concerns. We had a wonderful time visiting family. But this house made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Very comfortable.

Perfect location to explore KC - plaza, Westport, etc also the perfect location to get to the Kansas speedway for our nascar weekend! House was just as described & very clean! Would stay again!!

This was my second stay here. The location is very convenient to my elderly parents' home not to mention 15 minutes from the Plaza and downtown KC. It's a perfect spot for 3+ sisters (like us), a small family, two couples - you name it. The house is great! Three bedrooms and two baths, updated kitchen and baths, nice front porch/yard and a driveway + garage. The host is excellent! She is very responsive to calls and texts if needed. We will be staying here again when we visit my parents.

We stayed for 4 nights to have a quick visit with our eldest son. Great location to freeway access yet still a quiet, safe neighborhood. A bad storm blew through KC on our second day there, knocking out electricity to our home and the surrounding neighborhood. Our host was quick to respond by dropping off flashlights and being responsive to texts. Luckily the power came on by evening. We would happily stay there again!

This was our first time renting a home and needed something to house up to 6 people. The owner answered all of our questions and had a binder with instructions and tips for us to reference. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with plenty of space and parking for my family. We were very comfortable in our home away from home and would definitely book this home again.

Location is nice and quiet. Clean neighborhood and worked great for our stay. The place has a basement that has lots of open space but hasn’t been renovated yet so is only partly usable. We stayed for about 3 months during a transition period and it was great for what we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any needs and check on us since we were staying for a longer period. Highly recommend.

My family (6 adults) enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, remodeled house. There was plenty of room for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen and a garage if we wanted to park our cars. I highly recommend!!

Me and another mom were in town for the World Fastpitch Championships with our daughters (15 year-olds). We needed a place to stay for the week that had a washer and dryer so we could wash uniforms that was close to all the parks. This place was perfect! We couldn't have been happier with the location and layout of the house (and the washer and dryer worked great!). Our kids showed up every morning well rested and did amazing (finished 3rd out of 50+ teams). If we play in this tournament next year we'll definitely try to stay here again! Highly recommend!
