Love the property hade everything we needed. Quite community. Really enjoyed the stay. I recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable stay at crystal beach.

We arrived at 4:45pm on a very hot day and the key pad lock didn’t work. We called the owner numerous times sent a text. It took her 30 min to respond. Someone brought a key. The next morning, we all woke at 6am to an electrical burning smell. It was the AC. Again we called and it took 30 min for a response. We had been at the property less than 24 hrs when we decided to cancel since we had no way of knowing when the AC would be fixed, and this is Texas in June — the temps in the state were already near 100 degrees.
We also discovered when we arrived that the septic tank was “sensitive” and we could not even flush TP down the toilet. Plus, there was no ice or even ice trays in the freezer and no coffee filters for the coffee maker. Although the beach house was very nice, with the septic issues and the lack of simple amenities like ice trays and coffee filters, we would not book this place again.
Also, for the inconvenience of having our trip cancelled in less than 24 hrs., we feel like we should not have been charged for 1 night plus service fees.
