Property in quiet location, clean & modern home, good facilities

Great place to stay for the GP. Rooms well spaced out, lovely showers, easy access and parking. Well stocked kitchen and laundry.

The house was clean and spacious. The living room had plenty of light, the garden was lovely, and the location was convenient for restaurants and the beach. There was also a small playground about 50 metres away, which was great for the children

There was also a small playground about Unfortunately, several issues made our stay less comfortable. There was no body wash or shampoo, and the listing had not made clear that these were not provided. We only discovered this at night and had to make a special trip to the supermarket the next day. This was the first time we had encountered this at an accommodation. All the pillows were heavily pilled, so I would recommend bringing your own. The only heating was an air conditioner in the living room. On one particularly cold night, we could leave the doors of two bedrooms open to let some warmth in, but the other two bedrooms remained cold. One of those rooms had no extra blanket. We had to keep the heating on, which made the air very dry, and one of our children had a significant nosebleed overnight. We then needed to wash the bedding. The washing machine had a minor issue, which we eventually resolved ourselves. The Wi-Fi password was not provided before or at check-in, and it was not displayed in the house. By the time we realised this, it was after hours, so we could not get the password until the following day. This was inconvenient. We also had no gas for almost our entire stay. We reported this on the first day and were initially told someone would come promptly, then that it would be the next day, and later that we needed to send photos. After some confusion about which meters were for water, we were only told the gas meter’s exact location on the night before checkout. It was hidden behind several bins outside, and we had to turn it on ourselves. Communication was frustrating. The Booking.com app was of little use for this reservation, as nearly everything had to be handled by email or phone. Some staff members we spoke with on the phone were also quite unfriendly.
