About this house rental
Welcome to our family cottage. We love this quiet house with the wide views out the windows. The front of the house faces south and receives ample sunshine. The back door opens onto a deck where we like to drink our morning coffee and watch for deer, turkey, and the occasional fox. On clear nights, the back deck turns into stargazing central.
There are two queen beds, one in each bedroom. Two single hideaway beds are tucked into the storage space, and a pack-n-play.

Pros: Very nice and communicative host; downstairs AC works great.Cons: The cottage is very old and has an initial musty odor. It squeaks loudly with every step, door open, or trip up the stairs, so a sound machine is a must for kids. The AC does not reach the upstairs bedrooms well, leaving them quite hot at night.Accessibility Note: The stairs are extremely steep, and the only bathroom is upstairs. Avoid this property if you have knee or mobility issues.Overall: It worked fine as a basic base to sleep and change clothes, though cleanliness could be improved.
