The cottage served as a super base for four days. Facilities were indeed excellent. Everything you wanted was provided and all equipment and linen etc spotlessly clean and tidy. Lidl supermarket was just around the corner and the old part of the town fronting the river just 2km away. We were blessed with superb weather and were able to eat out breakfast each morning and also use the heated outdoor swimming pool upon occasion, (again spotlessly clean). We also appreciated the very peaceful and quiet location. The grounds were well cared for and we would certainly stay here again should we return to this part of Holland.
Just a couple of points here; a) my wife has very poor eyesight and unfortunately the lighting within the property is quite dim particularly after darkness. b) We stayed for 4 days and the wardrobe space is very limited. There are some hooks in the bedroom, but probably not enough for our needs.
