I enjoyed my time there once I accepted it on its own terms and benefited from a digital detox.

Absolute quiet, switched off from digital world albeit unexpectedly

There’s no air con and you need to pay extra for WiFi and socket access.

It is like living in a bird aviary. For a birder, it was exemplary.

It was beautifully secluded. The order and precision of the facilities was exceptional. The staff were incredibly dedicated and consistent.

Although I was aware of the lack of 220V electricity I will be better prepared next time.
