This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we really like it. The Kaibo and Rum Point restaurants were open this time, so there’s more options for eating out if that’s what you’d like to do. We prefer to grill and did a lot of our meals on the grill. Our expectation is to stay here when we return to Grand Cayman.

Kadi was the most responsive host and the place was superb. All the amenities you needed were provided and her details upon booking were so thoughtful and helpful. Perfect location!

The condo was exactly as described. Very well appointed for all of your activities. It was nice to have the beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles and a soft cooler bag for trips to 7 Mile. We could pack all of our food and drinks and lounge all day with no worries. Also, having the water filtration syatem was a plus as well as the coffee maker. Loved the interior, pool, and grounds. We like quiet, so the secluded location was a plus! It is an easy drive to the other side so don't let that stop you from booking!!

The property lived up to all expectations.

The property was quiet and relaxing. It is well stocked with anything you will. The owner was very quick to respond. Make sure you kayak to starfish point, all the starfish are between Kaibo and the point. There is a lot to see just snorkeling infront of the condo. Rum Point just down the road offers good snorkeling, good food, and a quiet relaxing beach. My kids are already wanting to come back.

My family had so much fun! It’s a great location on the North End. It was nice to walk/bike to Starfish Cove and Rum Point. The condo was very comfortable and had everything you need plus more!

We enjoyed absolutely everything about this place. A true gem! This is what a real "Island" vacation is suppose to be. Quiet, breathtaking view! We will be back!

Our stay was wonderful. The property location perfect for calm and serene days. It’s near enough to great restaurants, excursions and lots of beautiful beaches. Highly recommend!

We loved this property and the location of it in Grand Cayman! We did three excursions and they all left from the dock right on the beach—which made them stress free. My kids had fun swimming in the water right in front of the place and the pool. We loved all the amenities with the place. I would recommend kayaking to Starfish point—it took about 20 minutes and about 1/2 way to the point there are a ton of starfish! I think they are hiding from all the boats that go to Starfish point. My kids loved all the toys as well. It felt so nice and homey it made for a good stay. Two recommendations if you stay here: 1) get bug spray! Ton of bugs at night and stores are not close 2) I would have bought more groceries to use in the very nice and well equipped kitchen to have saved money, since you are not close to many options. We loved staying on this side of the island. Thank you for sharing your place with us! It was magical!

One of most favorite places in the world. Kadi is a wonderful host and ensures that we have everything we need for our stay. She is responsive and thoughtful. The unit is so well equipped with everything from bamboo sheets to lots of water and land toys. The good snorkling gear is a major plus and the 2 paddle boards are great. The clear kayak is also fun! We can't wait to go back next year!!!

I’d give six stars if I could! This was my first trip to the island and my partners second where he had stayed on Seven Mile. We both can’t image staying anywhere else after this visit. The condo is located in a dream like little cove and the patio door opens right on to the white sand. Fully stocked for an active vacation, we did not have a car and didn’t miss that one minute. Bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, propane grill, pool, hot tub, cocktails within a stones throw at Kaibo bar… We hired a chef to come in and cook and he commented how equipped the kitchen was. We didn’t have small kids along, but plenty of gear if you did. The view, location, the well stocked and thought through condo furnishings all make this a 10 out of 10. We will be back for sure.

We are alrady trying to figure out when we can come back. It was perfect. It was quiet and beautiful. The boys loved the Kayak's and looking for sealife. We had everything we needed.

We especially enjoyed the grill and screened in porch and being able to make our own meals since meals out with a teens tend to get expensive! Beds were great and the owner sends you a very helpful packet of info about some great places on the island. My teenagers loved the pool and hot tub. The community here was not busy and very quiet which we loved! Plenty of beach chairs, hammocks, and towels which was so nice! If you want some peace with all of the amenities, this is the place to go! We would recommend and also stay here again!

Great location. Easy water taxi in from Camana Bay. Accommodations were spot on and Kadi was very helpful.

Everyone on the property was so nice. The unit was perfect in every way. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of dresser and closet space with lots of hangers. Tons of beach towels. Use the tour operators that leave from the pier next door. The stingray, snorkeling, and starfish point are all on the condo side of the island. The guided tour at the botanical gardens is a must. You not only get to know what you’re looking at but Hal gave us a lot of island history since he lived on Grand Cayman all of his life. If you take the kayak out to the right of the cove, and go near the shore, there are tons of starfish. The beach at the condo was very nice with plenty of chairs and hammocks. Starfish point was also beautiful and a short walk away from the condo. Car rental was a must. We used Andy’s car rental. Kadi, the property manager was great!

Perfect condo for my family of 4. Plenty of games, toys, activities to keep the kids entertained. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels/toys. Loved the screened in patio. More starfish at this location than at Starfish Point!

Tortuga kai was perfect for our family of four. The beach and pool was quiet and footsteps away from the unit. The unit was one of the most organized and well equipped rentals I have ever stayed at right down to every possible extra toiletry you could need if you were in a pinch. The host was very responsive and had information in key places in five unit. Location was excellent, and we saw ton of Starfish at the beach in front of the unit. More than ag starfish point. We would definitely return, and it would be a great place for families, seniors, or visitors with no kids.

My family of 5 stayed at Tortuga Kai. The condo was really clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and more. My children loved the kyacks and the pool floats and there was tons of snorkeling equipment. The area is fairly quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile beach. Tours leave right from the pier at the restaurant next door (sting rays, snorkeling, bioluminescent bay). Our only complaint (if you can call it that) was that the water in the cove in front of the condos was full of sea grass and a fair number of jellyfish. We stuck to the pool for swimming while at the condo and took several trips to better swimming and snorkeling spots around the island. Having a car is a must. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we highly recommend.

I’m reluctant to say how wonderful this property is for fear of never being able to get any availability for future visits. The condo is very pleasantly appointed, generously equipped and in a fabulous location. The condo was not ready when we arrived so the property manager sent us to the yacht club for lunch, on her, and it was delightful. We’ll definitely book again.

Property was as advertised. Very peaceful, pool and beach right outside the door, Beach Restaurant next door for drinks and good food. Everything we needed was provided for a great stay.

This condo is a great condo, with a great property manager. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of utensils and pots/pans. The view is second to none. It is packed with water toys. The pool is steps away. The property manager was always responsive in a timely manner. Remember the location is the peaceful side of the island at Kaibo. This means it’s quite a drive to Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach. We selected this on purpose and loved it. In our opinion you do need a rental vehicle. We were there during low season. Kaibo Yacht club upstairs restaurant was closed and the downstairs bar and grill is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (both open in November). Rum Point is also shut down “until further notice”. But these were no problem for us, we liked the solitude.

Sparkling clean condo & nicely furnished. Very comfortable master bed - excellent nights sleep! The best stocked condo we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Toys for all ages. Our 1 yr old enjoyed the pool floats. Husband kayaked and I enjoyed the SUP. We just really appreciated the cleanliness of the condo and attention to detail especially traveling with a baby. We normally frantically run around wiping down all surfaces but didn’t feel the need to do so here-we could relax and enjoy our stay from the first moment to the last! Excellent dining & coffee right next door. Enjoy!

Our family has been visiting Grand Cayman for over 25 years. Tortuga Kai is by far our favorite place to stay. The condo is well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing and fun Cayman vacation. Kadi is a superb host. The pre-arrival information packet provides everything you need for a stress-free arrival, stay and departure. The condo is well appointed with all the amenities of home. The condo is only steps from the swimming pool. The kayak and paddle boards provide a great way to explore Starfish Point, and the bikes are great for exploring Cayman Kai and Rum Point. There is ample safety equipment for adults and children, and it is all in great shape. One of the best restaurants on the island, the Kaibo, is a short beach walk from the condo. Numerous snorkeling and Stingray City tours depart from the Kaibo's dock. We highly recommend booking one of the early morning Stingray City tours. There are many great restaurants a short drive from the condo located on the East End and in the Savannah area. Also, if you happen to visit in June or July stop and pick up some local mangos from a roadside stand. They are incredible!!! Now that the Caymans are re-open we look forward to our yearly visit, and will definitely be returning to Tortuga Kai

Fabulous stay for a family of 5 with 3 teens! I loved how peaceful it was. I sat outside every morning and was often the only person out! My kids enjoyed the kayak, paddle boards, volleyball and floats that are a part of the rental. I love how the beach was 40 steps from the condo! Kadi had a wonderful packet of information that she sent before our arrival, so I able to book different tours before we went, and most of the left from the dock next door or less than a mile away, so it was so easy! The condo was stocked with everything we needed and restaurants and stores were listed in her detailed notes. The only downside was that the water in the bay isn’t the beautiful turquoise color, but we got to see that on our boat tours and when we went to 7 mile beach a few of the days. I can’t wait to go again and will check this condo for availability first!
