10/10!! a true home away from home in Bologna.
The property is beautiful and perfectly located just outside Bologna’s historic centre. We could easily walk into the city, while still enjoying a quiet evening and calm morning away from the crowds.
The highlight of our stay was Franca and Sara, the most wonderful hosts. Franca welcomed us with a warm hug and a huge smile, and her daughter Sarah had been exceptionally kind and helpful from the very first message. They gave us excellent recommendations and made everything feel easy and personal.
The B&B is their great grandparents’ villa, and you can genuinely feel how much love and care have gone into every detail. Our room had excellent air conditioning, and the windows and shutters could be completely closed, allowing us to sleep in total darkness without being woken by the morning light.
Breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed-especially Franca’s chocolate cake and Sarah’s incredible homemade breads, which were so good that I even asked for the recipe!
They also allowed us to leave our car in the garage for an additional day for a very small fee, which helped us enormously. Every request was met with a smile.
We are so happy that we chose to stay here. If we return to Bologna, there is no question that this will be our place to stay again.

I Just had an exceptional stay at La Magnolia B&B. Probably the best independently run B&B I have ever experienced in my life. The hosts (Franca and Sara) not only are super nice and friendly but they go far and beyond to ease your stay. If you can't find a taxi they drive you to the airport (where do you find that?). The breakfast is wonderful and includes home made bread and cakes in a wonderful garden. The place is super clean and the location is super quite despite being very close to the center of the city.
It was perfect, I liked everything!

There is an old Romanian saying: "A good man makes a good place". And that is all about this place. Francesca and Sara makes our holiday to be one of a kind. Grazie Mille !

The owners are extremely friendly. I had special dietary requests, and they accommodated them without any problem.
The location is good, about a 20-minute walk from the city center.
