Great location just outside the centre. Beautiful appartement and the host were very friendly.
It is on the second floor and only stairs no issue for us. Parking can be difficult as limited spaces on the road.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. The pictures don't do it justice. High ceilings, calming paint scheme and tastefully decorated. John and Paola thought of everything - from water already chilling in the fridge to a welcome pack with pasta and sauce and a book exchange with kid's books too.. They were so lovely to deal with and the property is so close to the train station. We'd love to stay there again.
The property was a little further from the old town than I had thought and it was a struggle to get our 6 yo back in 38° heat. It wouldn't have been an issue in cooler weather though.

The apartment was clean and pleasant and the hosts were nice, very helpful, and spoke excellent English. The beds were very comfortable, unusually so for a vacation property, and the A/C was strong. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Lucca and to the train station. We never moved our car the entire time we were there. (We also loved Lucca and could've happily have enjoyed it for longer than our three-day stay. Lots of great food, too!).
The shower was small but that was an incredibly minor issue.

Very good communication with hosts before arrival made it an easy check in. Apartment was very clean and well stocked. Great location a short walk to the station and city centre. I had a fabulous stay.
