About this house rental

Welcome to Columbus Blue! This rustic bungalow was built during the Kern County mid-century modern architectural boom of the 1960's, with the most well known being the Frank Lloyd Wright Albin Residence in Bakersfield. Design-wise, this translated into homes that emphasized geometrical forms, angular features, and large windows to help bring the outdoors inside.

Located only 10 minutes to Miracle Hot Springs and the Kern River, come enjoy the serenity this architectural marvel has to offer!

Great place to stay very clean and roomy well stocked it was perfect location for what we went to the area for only one thing that I wasn’t happy with was the neighbor because we had two dogs and they bark at each other‘s a little bit and he wasn’t very friendly but other than that, I love staying there. Owner excellent offered excellent communication

We came to the area to raft the Kern. Bodfish was only 20 minutes from Kernville and well worth the drive. House was clean, neighborhood was quiet, beds were comfortable, and Dean was readily available via text although I did not need to reach out as everything was laid out for us upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.
