Unique & comfy Guesthouse

Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtetes Boutique Bed & Breakfast. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und stehen jederzeit mit Tipps zur Seite. Auch das Frühstück war super inkl. frischem Obst. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden immer wieder kommen.

Lovely, comfortable room with great hosts

A lovely comfortable room with a large shower room, a mezzanine room for guests with tea/coffee and a balcony. The location is perfect for the ‘Wanaka tree’ and a 30 min walk from shops and restaurants. Alan and Nolene were the perfect hosts.

A brood of starlings were scrabbling on the roof from the early hours!! Not sure if there is a nest in the roof space?

Very excellent home stay surrounded by quiet, gardens, birds to help you relax and enjoy your stay.

Being in a beautiful suburban location was perfect for relaxing on first stop of our holiday. There was an amazing park nearby you could walk through to access the famous Wanaka Tree and town centre. The room we had accessed a cute verandah that linked to a lounge area on upstairs level, with fridge for guests and tea, coffee etc, so although we had private spacious room and ensuite (with bath) access to the house was so special, it is a really beautiful country style home that oozes warmth and character. Bed was comfy and quiet. Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast in the downstairs dining room was lovely.

We loved being upstairs, but be mindful, if you have trouble with stairs to take this into consideration. Especially if you have big travel bags. For the couple of nights we stayed, it wasnt a bother for us.

lovely place to spend the night

very large room and bathroom in a gorgeous wood and stone house near the lake. Alan and Noeline very welcoming. we had a balcony and chairs to enjoy the sunshine. clean and well stocked with lovely organic toiletries. there was cereal toast fruit and yoghurt which was enough for us for breakfast.

Very Comfortable Stay At Wanaka Stonehouse .

Lovely Rustic Accomodation within walking distance to the Lake. The owners, Alan & Noeline are truly super hosts, who ensure that their guests have a comfortable stay.

quite, out of town, bear to Wanaka tree and the room was great

We were the only people staying there on the night. The owners were away, but left the premise in the hands of a neighbour(very good). Breakfast was great, room was great and the facilities were great. No TV which was great for us.

Good location, friendly owner

Average breakfast, very hot room(no fan or aircon), no tv. Very poor internet signal, no signal in our room.

Lovely room in a quiet, mature neighbourhood.

Ample space (esp. when the adjoining B&B room is unoccupied), excellent facility (top floor of a home occupied by the owners), private entrance, quiet neighbourhood. We slept well and enjoyed the pod coffees available to us. We also enjoyed our conversations with our host.

lovely hosts, truely interested in making our stay as nice and comfortable as possible. the house is beautiful and the rooms are lovely. we were very happy that we chose this place for our longest stay in New Zealand

Would recommend to anyone that needed a cosy, friendly environment.

The Owner Allan and family were all very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is simple and good.

Stay was comfortable and an easy walk to Wanaka town centre.

Alan and Noeline were great hosts. We were recommended to try the food at the Trout which was a fantastic place with nice selection of beers on tap. We had to leave the place early and they were kind enough to leave some fruits for us to take along for out trip.

We enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing friendly stay and so enjoyed the facilities.

The owners hospitable manner and friendliness. the bed, the spa , sauna and cold shower. The lovely breakfast . And the quiet. it was lovely to sit, read a book ( plenty on offer) And to grab a cuppa whenever.

I can’t say as there is anything to not like.

a B&B in someone’s home. lovely hosts but very old decor

the hosts were lovely, very welcoming

squeaky bed, toilet cistern dripped, just old 1970’s style was not our thing. particular hated no duvet cover just sheets and an old bedspread no door on bathroom so the shower is basically in your bedroom

Pleasant

It was ok generally compared with the money. It is handy. The shower is great.The owners are friendly.

The breakfast is pretty simple. The tap of the sink is still in old fashion which make it hard to wash hands with one tap hot the other cold.
