Nestled in Lake Sammamish, this charming cottage for $499 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Incredible, Lake Sammamish quaint home with trail and lake access. This luxurious well-appointed 2-bedroom 2 bath cottage features 1,100 sq. ft. of comfort nestled on a quiet lane of estate homes backing to the East Lake Sammamish trail which boasts 10+ miles of dedicated recreational pathways meandering along the waterfront of Lake Sammamish. Enjoy access to the lake from this home for kayaking and sunsets or take in views from your outdoor patio situated alongside a fresh water creek flowing into the Lake. Well behaved dogs are welcome (for an additional fee) to vacation with your family, it would not be a vacation without all family members! Your evenings include smores by the fire, family games at the table, and amazing sunsets making lifetime memories. Those memories can also include competitive games of Cornhole or outdoor Jenga with views of the lake next to a salmon bearing creek. The cottage features A/C with two bedrooms both with comfortable queen beds and two full bathrooms including a ceiling rain shower. The cozy kitchen can accommodate all of your cooking needs. When you are not cooking you can curl up by the fire and relax on the couch with a book or simply sit on the lakefront view patio with a glass of wine. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6, and a portable crib is available if needed. If needed, the living room sofa pulls out for a 3rd queen bed. All 3 beds feature new pillows and plush down comforters. You will find hardwood floors though-out the living area as well carpeted bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances including a gas stove top. The kitchen flows effortlessly into the living and dining areas. The dining table accommodates 6 or guests can enjoy meals on the deck lingering over the setting sun. The family room offers a plush sleeper sofa, 55' TV and well-stocked coffee bar for the Seattle coffee lover. A new washer and gas dryer are included for any laundry needs during your stay or to simply head home with clean clothes. Open the outdoor double doors and enjoy a book and listen to the babbling creek with birds chirping and eagles flying overhead nearly every day through the towering evergreens. Hawks, deer, and rabbits are also frequently seen on the property. Whether you are here to vacation, on business travel, visiting relatives or relocating to the area, you are just minutes away from wineries in Woodinville, groceries, and restaurants and retail shops in Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, or Bellevue. And you are an easy 25-minute drive to downtown Seattle via I-90 or Hwy 520 and Hwy 405 If you are looking to get away and relax in your own cottage getaway with trail and private beach access for kayaking or in town for business this is the lake house cabin for you! +Property shared with homeowner and they may be on site during stay, beach access is also shared with the homeowner, however kayaks / paddle boards available for guests at any time. Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location was picture perfect and Amy and DK did not leave a stone unturned in ensuring that their guests have everything they need for a perfect stay. They were incredibly accommodating and made this one of best experiences ever with Vrbo.

The little cottage is lovely, beautifully appointed and very clean. The welcome gift basket of snacks was so welcome after a long day of travel. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of doggie amenities as well, including towels to dry off and blankets to cover the furniture. The bedrooms have USB ports and outlets. The beds and linens were high end and very comfortable.The cottage does share a wall with the main house and the pathway to the main house does pass in front of the cottage. However, the owners were so respectful of our privacy and we often drew the blinds down the french doors down so it was not an issue at all. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

The hosts were great, and the house is adorable! We had a very comfortable stay, and due to the wonderful weather, we were able to spend time sitting near the lake with our family and dog. We loved seeing the mergansers and ducks with their babies, eagles flying overhead, and some visits from the adorable dog, Gracie. Thanks for a terrific stay, and I highly recommend.

I needed a place close to my house to stay during our house remodel. I found this place and it was everything I was looking for. Cozy, warm, bright abd clean! I wish I could stay longer! Highly recommended vacation spot.

We use VRBO quite a bit and this property was by far the best one we have stayed in to date! The property is beautiful, clean, well maintained and extremely comfortable. The owners were wonderful and extremely accommodating.

This cottage was better in person. While they have many lovely photos, they do not do this place justice. The cottage was immaculate, extremely thoughtfully furnished (big rocks in the freezer for bourbon), comfortable, and quiet. The hospitality of Amy and DK was outstanding. Even though the cottage is attached to the owners home it felt very private. Gracie, the wonder lab, was a delight and we probably encouraged her to come to us too much. This is an ideal place for two couples or a getaway for 4 friends. The indoor and outdoor spaces were utilized perfectly. We would absolutely return.

First of all, this was our first time visiting the Seattle Area and wanted to be on the lake. As soon as we arrived, I knew we hit the jackpot!!! Every detail, BBQ Grill, Seating Areas, Lake Gear, Kitchen appliances, down to the linens. We even received a welcome basket and homemade ice cream sandwiches from the owners. Did I mention there was a natural creek that fed to the lake. Amy and DK, the owners were super hospitable and without a doubt we will be back.

All the comforts of home and then some!
Amy & DK went above and beyond to make our stay at The Cottage thoroughly enjoyable. They even made sure that we had snacks and breakfast beverages for a restricted diet and toys and treat for our son's dog. Lovely place, peaceful and quiet. Thank you, Amy & DK!

My adult siblings + my pup gathered to surprise my sister for her birthday. The cottage is a beautiful home with comfortable beds and TVs in all the rooms. A special basket and fridge full of eggs, milk, half and half, fruit, granola, snack bars, popcorn etc. really made it so we didn't have to go to the grocery store. The sparkling grape juice was a nice touch to toast my sister. Everything went so smooth. The owners were very responsive. We would love to stay there again. Paisley, my Maltese ,had her own treats too. Super nice place!

Super clean, very nicely decorated and comfortable, the beds were perfect mid range firmness, the bathrooms were beautiful and very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The refrigerator was even stocked with creamer, juice, yogurt, eggs, milk and fresh fruit (thank you Amy for the non-dairy milk and creamer). Coffee and tea were provided as well as cooking oils and spices. There is a laundry closet, extra blankets to cozy up on the couch, a welcoming dog bed with special treats and a very nice and warm gas fireplace. There were welcome baskets in almost every room! The one on the dining table contained contained all kinds of snack items, a s’mores kit to use outside at the fire pit, bananas and microwave popcorn and fresh blueberry muffins! The welcome baskets on each bed were like little spa kits! The outdoor space is great, with several areas to sit and relax. There is a babbling brook that runs next to the property and the sound of it is so relaxing. It is a wonderful property. Talk about attention to detail, not one detail was missed! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful cottage!
We stayed at the cottage for a week while some work was done on our home. It was perfect for our needs. We worked, the kids played and we got to enjoy the lake in the afternoons. I want to come back for a Moms weekend away!

This cottage is perfect for 4 guests. Everything you need plus extra treats. The owners are outstanding. Yes, the cottage is attached to the house but it still feels private. The beach is their property but they share and are generous with their spaces. I saw one reviewer that said they couldn’t find groceries. Costco and PCC are about 4 miles away and you can easily stop to stock up along the way. Once you get there, it’s nice to hunker down and enjoy. Perhaps that is why they struggled. They didn’t want to go back out. I get that.

The cottage is on the most perfect setting alongside a small creek that empties into Lake Sammamish. The cottage backs up to the main house that is occupied by the owners DK and Amy both of whom could not have been better hosts! The property itself is beautifully furnished with so many special touches it would take too long to outline. I will say that our puppy had her own special treats, toys, and a bed for her stay and Roy and I had a bag of goodies which was a life saver after a long day of travel.

Lovely lake stay
The cottage and lake are lovely. The hosts provide some starter groceries and the kitchen is complete with pans and tools for anything you want to prepare. But bring your groceries! Driving out and around and finding shopping was frustrating and more time consuming than we liked. This location is about staying on the lake.

This was a great stay for my family and I. The only thing that caught me off guard was that the cottage is attached to the main house where the owner resides. There is no lake view from the cottage, and lake access is shared with the owners. The owners, although quite pleasant and friendly, were frequently seen and interacted with during the stay. The inside of the cottage was very tastefully decorated with many nice features. The owners are also very conscientious and left snacks and some light food items for us to enjoy during the stay.
