About this cottage rental
Located in Langley, this charming cottage for $215 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Sharon's Cottage is a privately owned, cozy, bright & cheery view property that is located about a half mile from the charming seaside village of downtown Langley. The home has a floor to ceiling wall of north facing windows in the dining/living room area, which allows for good lighting, even on those northwest cloudy days. Double French doors lead to a spacious deck to enjoy your view & relax on. The open floor plan allows for good flow from the well equipped kitchen with eating bar, dining room & living room. There is a great freestanding propane fireplace to unwind and read a good book by. The cottage is decorated in cheery colors reminiscent of a French country cottage, complete with hand painted décor. The pine plank floors from New Hampshire add warmth &I charm. Views of passing boats and whales can be glimpsed from the living room and deck or often some of the local deer, as there is an abundance of wildlife! There is one bedroom on the main level with a king-size pillow top bed, ceiling fan and skylight. The second bedroom is an upstairs open area loft, which overlooks the living room. There is a king-size bed in the loft with double skylights that lead to views of the stars & towering cedars above. The bathroom has double sinks and a separate shower/toilet area. There is a full size washer & dryer in the utility room. Other amenities include internet, wifi, dvd player, cable tv & built in microwave. Come explore all that downtown Langley has to offer! Excellent restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and specialty shops. There is a public beach access at the Seawall Park, for beach combing, swimming or picnicking. For those hikers or mountain bike riders, the Saratoga Woods, is less than a mile away! Whidbey Island has the tranquility and beauty of a remote refuge, and yet it is less than two hours from the Seattle metro area! We have recently started using VRBO’s rate recommendations, so the reservation rental rates may increase or decrease each day. Please note that we do not honor yesterday's rates.

The cottage provides everything you need for a great stay. April the property manager was so attentive to my every need . The views are incredible. Lots of wildlife to keep you mesmerized.

My friend and I took a weekend away from the kids to sew together and this little cabin provided us the perfect amount of space for our hobby. We were able to spread out on the floor and each have a separate surface for sewing. Despite the usual PNW weather there was a ton of light that streamed in all day from the floor to second story windows. We slept very comfortably asked for a late check out to keep sewing and had a luxurious slow exit to the property. I would definitely stay here again.

The contract clearly states that the HOA rules do not allow renters to access the roads / neighborhood beach other than for egress and ingress and requires renters to stay within the confines of the cottage property. In hindsight, we should have paid more attention to this requirement as we definitely felt that our movement was restricted. We missed not being able to take an evening stroll in a neighborhood. The nearby road is a bit too dangerous to walk on in the dark.

The roomy cottage is well appointed and well cared for and is as hospitable as advertised. The private setting feels like a sanctuary with the rolling lawns, towering trees and a distant but clear view of the water. Although I did not need all the space, the luxury of it added to an experience I did not want to end. The short drive to Langley made the cottage the best of both worlds and I would return often if I could!

No surprises, only a thoroughly pleasant experience.

The cottage is very attractive. The wall of windows provides quite ample light throughout the day. The living space opens to a deck from which you have some view of the water, from afar.
The kitchen was well-appointed. Parking is right next to the home but not visible as one is inside.

Fromm the moment we arrived, my wife was in heaven. My daughter loved the loft. It was very comfortable, clean and inviting. My wife says if we need a place to stay on the Island she wants this place as our first choice.
