We absolutely loved staying the GetAway. It was in an amazing location, with beautiful views overlooking the hills. We especially loved the rustic feel and the homely charm of the place, which made it feel cosy, relaxing and like a true escape from everyday life. And how it was all screen free 😍

Beautiful, rustic, little hideaway in the hills. The host was friendly and unassuming and, once he was certain we had everything we needed, was very discreet and left us to enjoy a quiet breakaway from home.
Very little to critique although the fire made the whole area very smoky (even prior to being lit). Not an issue for us, but may be something to consider for someone with asthma (or similar respiratory issues).

Excellent location, very relaxing and peaceful and great view. Comfortable bed, very enjoyable stay.
There was no milk with the tea and coffee facilities.

Amazing location and views of the forest and proximity to Araluen
The fireplace must be leaking smoke in the chimney, it was very smokey on the second floor making it difficult to sleep. I even made sure the window on ground floor was open to ensure the draft would make the smoke go up The chimney beforehand. The sink on second floor was partially blocked. The dishes on the sink were not cleaned properly by the previous guests.
