Very nice budget option hotel less than five minutes walk from Kyoto station. We appreciated the free tea, coffee, and water. Rooms are very adequate. Would stay here again.
The staff is very nice and accommodating, but English is mostly not spoken. Be prepared to use a translating app if you have any questions beyond the very basic ones.

We love that the property is very close to Kyoto South station. Restaurants, a mall, and convenience stores are also just a few steps walk from it.
The only real drawback is the lack of a toilet brush to clean the bowl after pooping, though we managed. Despite this, we will absolutely stay here again when visiting Kyoto since the location near the station is perfect and it is a great value.
