Position, views and relative privacy. Appreciated that we got an early check in.Excellent kitchen appliances. Comfortable bed/pillows. Very clean.

Although we got an early check in, to have check in at 3 pm and check out at 10am does not seem good value. Appreciate property is large and hot tub needs to be cleaned etc but more staff would allow a shorter turnaround time. Master bedroom being open to the hallway is less than ideal if other bedrooms occupied. Provision of glasses and tableware was limited- glass tumblers were very small. Only 2 teabags left. Poor ventilation possibilities in lower bedrooms. Windows do not tilt. Our bedroom door closed but would not stay shut. Almost impossible to get soap/shampoo out of the dispensers- someone with weak hands would have no chance. Decor in bedrooms was basic. Towels should also be provided for hot tub, so not having to use same towels for showering. Door handles could do with some WD40- very squeaky!!

Lack of tissues shower caps etc in the bathroom and not the most comfortable sofas.

Check in staff where nice .

Hot tub didn’t heat up until 10 o’clock at night , this was the reason we booked the lodge very disappointing.
