About this apartment rental
The family-run Annemarie Guesthouse is located in a quiet area, yet right in the heart of Reit im Winkl. We offer two single rooms and four vacation apartments, which can also be booked together. All accommodations feature a balcony with a view. On our terrace and the large sunbathing lawn, you’ll find time to relax and unwind. Visit us at gaestehaus-annemariehecht.de., or give us a call. A bus stop, cross-country ski trails, and hiking trails are all nearby. This makes our guesthouse a popular starting point for outdoor activities. A covered parking area (carport) is available for our vacation apartments, with one parking space per unit. Restaurants, cafes, and shopping options are right nearby.

Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “towns whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for recreation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation through its ongoing efforts ever since. One key factor is its elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat and offering ample bus service.
Our inn is a family-run business. After completing my training as a hotel manager, I worked at the local tourist information office.
