We needed a getaway from day to day life, We were able to reset and recalibrate with beautiful views, privacy and a stillness unmatched. The owners were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay notable and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back here.

Wonderful view of the mountains & valley, very tranquil and quiet. Completely private. Friendly, helpful host.
There are no curtains in any of the rooms - so the sun wakes you up at first light.

The staff is fantastic and there are plenty of activities around the area, which is a piece of paradise
There was no access between the top and bottom floors without going outside - a bit of a problem when there's drastic rain.
We would have liked to go on a hike but the leopard in the area has made it impossible - not a bad thing just one to be aware of

Unfortunately, our stay did not live up to expectations. While the property itself has potential, the overall experience lacked the warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail that guests hope for when booking a special getaway.
One of the main attractions for us was the wood-fired hot tub, which was prominently featured as a selling point. However, upon arrival it was not even filled with water, and when we expressed interest in using it, the owner, Werner, seemed inconvenienced rather than accommodating.
The linen and towels were average at best and did not reflect the level of comfort we expected. As this stay was booked to celebrate a 50th birthday, it was disappointing that there were no thoughtful touches, extra comforts, or efforts to make the occasion feel special or memorable.
The hospitality aspect was also lacking. No one was there to greet us upon arrival, nor was anyone present to see us off when we departed. The overall atmosphere felt impersonal and did little to make us feel welcomed or valued as guests.
What left the most negative impression, however, was the communication after our stay. We received a scathing voice note on whatsapp and were criticized for leaving bedding dirty, which seemed unreasonable given that bedding is expected to be washed between guests. We were also accused of stealing firewood, despite the fact that the wood had been generously given to us by the owners of a local pub nearby. (The wood supplied by the accommodation was very sparse and we also did not have enough firelighters to get the wet wood burning.)
In addition, two minor accidents occurred during our stay. One of only two glasses provided lost its stem while being washed, and a bedside lamp was accidentally knocked over while trying to switch on a light during the night. These incidents were entirely accidental and certainly not acts of vandalism or negligence.
