The historic property has a certain charm, though it seemed a little under-maintained. The breakfast was reasonably good. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The location was good and parking easy every time I returned. Issoudun's best restaurant, under separate management since December 2025, is steps away and well worth a visit.
A few ants in the bathroom, the fact that the shutters on one window appeared to be locked in the open position, making morning light impossible to exclude. The granola seemed to be going stale.
