We had a great stay here and would happily book again. The house comfortably sleeps a group of five to six and is genuinely well equipped for self-catering — dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, and beds that were actually comfortable. Three bathrooms for a property this size is a real luxury and made mornings painless. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival, check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout.
The location is a highlight. There's a public park directly in front of the house where kids can run around on the grass, the neighbourhood is genuinely quiet after dark, and the view from the property is excellent. The balcony was a lovely spot to sit out in the evenings.
Nothing that would stop us returning, but a few honest notes for future guests and for the host:
The house is slightly smaller than the photos suggest, though still ample for a group of 5–6.
Parking at the front is tight. Two large cars is the absolute maximum, and even manoeuvring a single large car felt snug.
The kitchen has cutlery, but a very limited selection, which made cooking anything beyond the basics awkward. A few more utensils would go a long way.
In the master bedroom there's an odd noise from the wall roughly every 15 minutes — a muffled, vibrating alarm-like sound. It isn't loud, but it persists through the night. We didn't mention it during our stay, so the host may not be aware; it could be a water pump, irrigation timer or similar appliance cycling on and off, and would be an easy fix for an otherwise excellent room.
The property across the street has ongoing construction, reliably between 08:00 and 10:00 (nothing after that). Anyone in a street-facing room will likely be woken by it. Outside the host's control, but worth knowing.
A car is close to essential. The location is good, but most places are a 20-minute walk or a 5–10 minute drive.
We stayed in summer, so windows and screens need to stay shut at night. Only a few bugs, but enough to notice.
