Enjoy a cozy vacation in Triberg’s best location—surrounded by stunning nature, in an authentic Black Forest farmhouse. The Feißesberghof is situated on a very sunny hilltop with a panoramic view above Triberg, right next to the Black Forest Railway Adventure Trail. The farmhouse is an authentic 18th-century Black Forest farmhouse that underwent extensive renovation in the 1980s and has been modernized several times since then. So, of course, there is central heating, but the charm of the original Black Forest house has been largely preserved. This also means that some rooms in the house, as well as most doorways, are less than 2 meters high; taller guests may have to duck their heads from time to time. Furthermore, soundproofing was largely unknown in the 18th century, so you’ll have to get used to some noise from neighboring rooms. Right next to the house, there’s a terrace, various outdoor seating areas, a huge garden, and parking spaces. The Black Forest Railway Adventure Trail runs along the edge of the property and invites you to go hiking right from the house.
Under a brand-new roof, we transformed the old threshing floor into a beautiful vacation apartment in 2020 that accommodates six people: A magnificent sense of space, breathtaking panoramic views, beautiful oak floorboards, exposed 18th-century roof beams, a custom-built, modern kitchen with an induction cooktop, and a lovely bathroom. The six sleeping spots are distributed among a double bed and a bunk bed in the separate bedroom and another double bed in the spacious living room. Soon there will be a patio under the 100-year-old ash tree in front of the entrance; until then, the table is set up for dining outdoors surrounded by greenery.
