Vanaf de locatie was het 10 minuten wandelen naar de hoofdstraat van het charmante middeleeuwse stadje met vele winkeltjes en eetgelegenheden. Het leukst vonden wij echter de lokale mensen. Zij zijn erg behulpzaam, vriendelijke en maken graag een praatje.
Het appartement was voorzien van alle benodigdheden, en een bonus was de centrale ruimte waar we schoonmaakspullen konden vinden om de vaatwasser tabletten aan te vullen en een stofzuiger te lenen. Dit gaf ons zelf controle over het schoonmaken van het kleine appartement i.v.m. allergieën.
De locatie is erg mooi en je kijkt uit op een klein grasveldje en een hoge groene heg. Vanaf de bank bezien is dit een prima uitzicht. Aan de andere kant van de heg ligt echter een doorgaande weg. Met de tuindeuren gesloten valt het geluid erg mee, maar met mooi weer en open ramen hoor je dit verkeer wel heel duidelijk.

The location was excellent for our purposes.
The kitchen baking equipment wasn't all cleaned. The couch was not clean and is quite worn/tired.We walk inside with sox on and the floors were not as clean as could be desired. The fan was dusty.
There were no microwave baking dishes at all.
Is it possible to have wedges to keep front entrance doors open, in order to get luggage into unit without a series of heavy objects to do the job.
There are no instructions on the operating system for the heating system.
There is only one couch on which to sit. The chair provided is not possible to use.
Only one key card left in the unit.

Despite the good reviews I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. Part of a health club? On a business estate? Turned out I needn't have worried Very spacious, well fitted and kitted out, attractive & comfortable. Easy run gch & the luxury of a permanently warm bathroom. Excellent shower. We try to travel light but some places don't even have a couple drawers, hanging space or a bedside table but this place had plenty of storage space for out bits & pieces
Plenty of parking. Quick access to all major routes & Hungerford itself
We used the cafe & bar for breakfast - toast & tea - cheap, quick, well cooked
The cafe & bar could really do with a good clean
