Beautiful location! No noise here aside from a single plane passing over. It was actually a little bit bigger than I had imagined. The bed was super comfy, the sofa bed also wasn’t bad at all either. We appreciated the fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee. Don’t be fooled by what the shower head looks like, it is surprisingly powerful (more so than my shower at home) and stayed at the same temperature throughout my shower. Check in was done via a lockbox. We didn’t actually meet the hosts but Jayne was always quick to reply to my messages and in a friendly manor too. A few young cows in the field opposite the property which were very cute! My daughter loved that there was a trampoline for her to go on too. A few mins walk up the road is a beautiful old church, we had a wander through the graveyard at sunset.
Perfect for an overnight stop before visiting Alton Towers. We throughly enjoyed our short stay here and hope to book again next year when we go to Alton Towers again.
If I was to be picky, there were a few cobwebs about but aside from that, the place was lovely and clean!

Comfortable to stay and quiet English country side.
Location is too far from Alton towers. The property doesn’t provide toiletries. Have some spare.
