The breakfast was outstanding - one of the best in our two weeks in France. The terrace view is jaw-dropping; hopefully the two landscape pictures convey that. This added to the storybook nature of our experience. In addition, the young lady who prepared our breakfast and served it was a delight. Her demeanor, conversation and beautiful smile made us feel at home. Our stay here was truly the highlight of our three weeks in France and Spain!
Nothing. Simply a magical place and experience! Now, I'm just trying very hard to convince my wife to return next year! Beginning our day on the terrace with a fantastic breakfast and strolling through your lovely village was more than we had hoped for. Merci beaucoup!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, run by a very accommodating couple. It is located in the gorgeous medieval village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. The rooms are very spacious and decorated eclectically. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Fabian, one of the hosts, serves breakfast via picnic baskets onto the terrace. The breakfast itself is plentiful and delicious, with meats, cheeses, fruits and pastries. The terrace overlooks the town, picturesque and photogenic.
We drove away with one of the room keys and Fabian called us to make arrangements at a local hotel (we were about 45 minutes away) to drop off the key so that he could pick it up. This was an elegant solution to what could have been a very inconvenient problem for us.
We had a great dinner at a nearby restaurant, located just down the hill from the hotel.
The nature of the village is hilly and restricted development; consequently, parking is several minutes away, and requires a hike to get to. That's ok on a nice day, but could be a hassle in the rain. Unloading luggage involves a temporary parking spot on top of a hill and walking the luggage down a rock-paved "road." Fabian helped with the luggage, which he didn't have to do, but we appreciated this very much.

Such a beautiful room in a beautiful village. Our room was so spacious and laid out well and having our delicious breakfast brought to us each morning was a treat. The room is modernized even though the building retains its old charm. Both our room and our host made our stat there truly special.
