We only had breakfast at the place because we like to travel around and try things. The food they serve is locally sourced and cooked by the lady of the house and my recommendation is to go to breakfast hungry. Since the place is operated by the owners, they confirm breakfast choices the day before and they deliver! It is located about a mile away from the Trans Rarău road, that crosses the Rarău mountains, so it is very quiet / secluded and in proximity with some hiking trails. Also within driving distance from Moldovan monasteries. The air is amazing and there is very little to no light pollution, so at night you may be able to see more stars than in most places where humans live.
I can't say I didn't like it, but the lodge is somewhat far from the paved road. I did offset the inconvenience by driving slow and paying extra attention to the road. We drove a Kia Ceed automobile, so if you drive a small 4x4 or ride a motorcycle you'll be fine.

Peaceful, unconnected from the stressful life. In one word just beautiful. Kindness people I’ve ever met. I felt like I was returning to my parent’s house.
