The linen is extra and thought this may be common in France it would be better to include for Booking.com reservations and international travellers are not used to this. The pillows are awful, poor bags of foam cuttings.
Also has to be Pais in cash as does Tourist Tax and Deposit. This meant I had to get 800 - yes 800 Euros out in cash which was difficult from local machines. Also now means I have to covert back 500 back to sterling and take a hit. Please take a card payment deposit like every other host/hotel in 2026.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the south of France. After a hectic start to our holiday, we were thrilled with our time here. There was everything you could have needed. The location is absolutely fantastic in that it was only a short walk down to the shops and harbour - though be aware you are on a hill. The pool was great amongst a lovely garden, and the air con was very much appreciated. The kitchen had everything you needed, and there were a lot of various seating areas for everyone, so we never felt on top of each other. There is enough space for two cars, possibly even 3 small which can be kept behind the electric gate. Natalie was so welcoming and informative, and we felt very safe knowing that she was only a phone call away. Cassis is also only a short bus and train ride away from local places to visit such as Marseilles. The market twice a week is also stunning, and the small commune itself is so clean and friendly. The local calanques make for a great hike with incredible views. For those wishing to visit Monaco without driving, it was really easy to organise a couple of train hops from Cassis train station to Toulon, Nice and then Monaco.
There was nothing we didn't like, though at least it was the teens who were upstairs in the eaves up the tight spiral staircase. The villa could do with a little TLC here and there with a lick of paint on the balcony rail perhaps and the odd wire covering up. It is important to keep on top of cleaning outside when it's windy to avoid the ants collecting in numbers. Nevertheless, these are minor things when you are getting a really good price in a fantastic area. Thank you for sharing your villa with us.
