Quaint and well equipped

The property was very nice and comfortable beds very clean kitchen had all necessary appliances.
Nothing I didn’t like about the property it was a good base for where we wanted to go. When we first entered the property we had a good look around as you do my adult son noticed toe/finger nails on the floor in the corner near the sofa and hearth quite a few blue nail varnish on some of them which was quite off putting also long blond hairs in same corner not ours as we all dark haired. Also the bath bath was a bit awkward to fill for my 4 year grandson with the glass panel being in the way and only able to move inwards, same for the shower I had to climb in the bath for shower head, turn it on then climb out again with shower running. Shower curtain would be better.

Cute cottage, very lovely overall. Only a few minor issues, see below
The window blind in the bunk bed room did not close. It was lucky our son was not woken by the light in the mornings. It would have been useful to have instructions on how to lock the door. It was not obvious to us who have been living in anorher country and not familiar with this locking mechanism.

Perfect location
Beautiful house but see rest of review.
The place was filthy.
It was very, very dusty. A pillow had stains on, one sheet was ripped as was one of the duvet covers. Never mind the dusty underpants that were behind the drawers in the single room!
Contacted Host and Stay during our stay regarding the shower temperature and water flow, which they replied to straight away.
We contacted them after our stay regarding the cleanliness of the house as we had already wasted time during our holiday trying to sort the water issues.
Host and Stay initially responded to my complaint about the house and rang me to say my complaint would be replied to in 7 - 10 working days. It's now been 14 days and I am no further forward.
Its a shame I've been dealt with this way, as it truly is a lovely house and would have stayed again if it wasn't for the cleanliness and lack of communication.
