Really, I would give the property an 8.5, but Booking didn't give me that option! Tay Villa was in a good location. It was a bit of a long walk to the town centre, but nothing that would be prohibitive for the majority of people. We asked for, and were given, a quiet room at the rear of the house. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Parking is available, but could potentially be a bit difficult depending on the time of day, etc. We were really impressed though, when the host not only met us personally, but helped us with luggage, and stepped right into the street to direct traffic so that we could get a better parking spot than we originally had!
We could hear other guests voices a bit in the hallway, etc., but nothing that was disturbing to us. Also, with the luggage we had, we found the room a bit small, but if you had fewer bags, it would probably be just fine.

As a whole, it was a convenient location and a good price for a very quick one night visit to get some sleep, shower, and clean up before heading to the airport. It wasn't overly impressive but it did the job. It was quiet and comfortable, if small. But I knew that going into it. It had everything I needed.
Getting in was easy but mildly labor intensive. Several keys were needed for an outside door, and intermediate door and the the room door itself. Again, not a big issue, but for some people it could be a pain.
The REAL issue is parking. Parking at the location is an absolute abortion. I was extremely lucky to find some street parking within 4 or 5 houses of the property. Other people use the street for parking in front of their home or other rental properties with multiple rooms available. The other part to that equation is that some people would leave huge gaps between vehicles rendering the available space to park even less. The email stated that the private alleyway next to the home could be used, if needed or wanted, but it was blocked by the owner of the home, so it really wasn't an option to use to facilitate parking --- but it's his alley, so it is what it is. Just be advised of potential parking issues.
All that said, while it was ok, I wouldn't stay there again.
