About this house rental
Nestled in Frisco, this lovely house for $229 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Pirate's Lair #7-F Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Pirate's Lair is the perfect family vacation hideaway. It is close to the Frisco beach (only five lots away), yet near to the sound and near four-wheel-drive access. The ground level has lots of concrete parking, carports, an outside shower, and a basketball goal. The first living level has four spacious bedrooms, each with a TV. At the end of the hall, the large bedroom has access to the full bath with a double-vanity (also accessed by the hall) and a laundry nook. The second level opens up to tall cathedral ceilings and a full bath. You'll have a hard time dividing your time between the front covered deck with a picnic table, the back sundeck (a must at sundown), or the beach at sunrise. The living and dining areas are well equipped and expansive. The kitchen is fully equipped. Want a relaxing getaway? Look no further than Pirate's Lair. Things to know: You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We loves our stay this past week as it was just me and my wife and the location made it effortless to get to the beach. Tremendous amount of room and the decks have excellent views. Would stay there again if at all possible next year

This was my first time working with a vacation Rental company, and I have to say that vacasa really exceeded my expectations. We went for 2 weeks for my 50th birthday and the 4th of July, and When we got there the air conditioning unit for downstairs was not working . It was kind of late so I messaged them first thing the next morning and they came out before one in the afternoon to bring window units for all of the bedrooms. That was such a relief because it was really difficult to sleep in the warm air. There was absolutely no hassle!! When the parts came in 3 days later, they fixed the unit without even letting us know until they needed to test it. The technicians were very friendly and very professional and above all very quick.
So now for my review of the house LOL but honestly these vacation houses are only as good as the rental agency and I would definitely rent from vacasa again.
This house had 2 levels and the top-level is the congregation area and the bottom level is the bedroom level. I am pretty sure that they enclosed a porch to create a fourth bedroom that has 4 small beds in it but it is perfect for anyone who might want to do a birthday party and have some people at night so that they don't drink and drive, or for a birthday party for a child and all the kids can sleep in the same room.
The downstairs bathroom is en suite, Which was perfect for our group because our family used that 1 bathroom and let everybody else use the upstairs bathroom.
We cook our meals so I was a little hesitant and even brought some of my own cookware but I can tell you as a home chef that everything that you need is there for sure, Even muffin tins and you don't usually get that in a rental.
Bring plenty of bug spray if mosquitoes like you. Sitting out on that patio at night was really nice!
There was plenty of seating for eating purposes and entertainment purposes. It would be fine for a group up to 15 probably.
The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes and included one small hike over A dune and we had people in our Party with back problems and leg problems and we were still able to get to the beach.
The beach itself is awesome and we had a great time body boarding in the surf!
Everybody came back a little bit toner from going up and down 2 flights of stairs. It's not too bad though, like I said even the people who had physical issues were okay with it, they just took a little longer.
Overall this was probably one of my favorite vacations, and we vacation a lot!
Thank you, Vacasa, for supporting our rental so well. This now 50 year old will vacation with you again!

Loved the neighborhood very dog friendly! Enjoyed spending time on either porch each morning. Amazing stay for our 2 weeks. Very short walk to the beach. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The beach was within a few minutes walk, you could see the sound from the deck, and the interior was nicely decorated. The house had plenty of room to accommodate all our guests and was pristine when we checked in. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This home had everything we needed for the week and was very clean upon arrival.
Location is great and short walk to the beach. Captive bedroom made privacy an issue for connected rooms but we knew that would be the case when we rented it. Would stay there again.

We could feel sandy grit on every hard floor surface and the rug in the living room had very visible dirt and dog hair. I decided to vacuum but the vacuum cleaner was not sucking up anything. My husband had to clean out both of the vacuum cleaners at the house and even after that they only worked slightly better. Favorite things about the property include: location, layout of the house, amenities provided with the house. We loved the quiet, residential street and the short, pleasant walk to the beach. The upper level of the house has a perfect layout for everyone to be together comfortably. And the house was really well-stocked with everything you’d need in the kitchen (except for adequate dish towels and kitchen garbage bags - definitely lacking while we were there). We loved having so many board games to choose from, plus a variety of books (our 6 year especially loved all the childrens books!) Having the big dog crate all set up in the living room and ready to go was a BIG plus (and a surprise too). That came in so handy when we went to Ocracoke for the day! We mostly enjoyed the beach but we also took some time exploring the area: Graveyard of the Atlantic museum, Hatteras village, Ocracoke island. All low-key but fun excursions. We would definitely rent this house again, but I do hope they replace those vacuum cleaners in the near future.

The 1 minute walk to the beach was awesome. The house was plenty large enough for our 6 adults that stayed. the area is very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the beach, the small towns, the local shops and the fishing. Very slow paced atmosphere.

It was very clean. The 2 full bathrooms were excellent for our 3 families. Big kitchen with everything to make dinners. Linens came with. Small yard was great for the boys to play when not in the beach. Would def go again!

Nice Property, just housekeeping from realty company was subpar
We enjoyed the home & LOVED the location. Would had loved to give it 5 stars, but I had to vacuum the entire home because housekeeping failed to do their job. Livingroom rug was coated in long white dog hair, and at checkout when looking under the beds noticed piles of the same hair....that was the only negative from our stay @ Pirate's Lair.

Nice place. Lots of room and good location. We'll equipped kitchen. Outside hose would have been nice. Could have been a little cleaner - some sand on floors and carpets in bedrooms somewhat dingy.

Plenty of room for the family and pet friendly. Kitchen has every pot and pan you need. 5 tv's so everyone can watch what they want.
