Die Lage war gut. Das Personal nett.
Nur ein kleines Fenster zum Kippen, so konnte nicht richtig gelüftet werden. Ich bin froh war es nicht mehr so heiss. Es war sehr ringhörig, ich hörte jeden Schritt der Nachbarn obendran und die Gespräche vom Gang her.
In der Küche gab es keine Mikrowelle oder die Möglichkeit etwas Kleines zu erwärmen. Das habe ich in der Beschreibung anders gelesen. War für die kurze Zeit in Ordnung.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und gleich wohl gefühlt. Künstlerisches Umfeld, wie zu Hause im Atelier, sehr nette Gemeinschaft.

This place is truly unique and unlike anywhere we've stayed before. It's essentially living quarters inside a huge building with a vibrant social scene. Winterthur itself is charming, and the surrounding buildings boast incredible historic industrial architecture.
Please note that, as this is a historic neighborhood, there is no on-site parking. We found the cheapest and most convenient parking nearby, in hall #53.
However, the accommodations surprised us somewhat, as the description wasn't entirely clear. The layout was less traditional than we're used to: narrow, very basic beds, a shared kitchen without running water, and a shared refrigerator with separate compartments. There was no microwave, and the water drained poorly.
The train station is also quite close, so the noise from passing trains may be disturbing for light sleepers.
