A couple of relaxing days

The breakfast set out on the balcony was lovely. The service was good, however the quality of a couple of items did not match the setting. Orange juice was not freshly made, bacon reheated, eggs cooked as requested.

We had to phone someone to lets us in or exit the hotel. There were areas of the hotel that looked tired and need updating.

I spent relaxing time at the manor house.

The manor was sumptious and staff and breakfast were great. Very relaxed. Breakfast was fantastic and covered all options.

Eine bezaubernde Zeit des Genießens!

Es war einfach alles perfekt! Ein unglaublich schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes und luxuriöses Haus mit jeden Komfort was man sich nur wünschen könnte. Äußerst freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Sehr großzügige Zimmer mit großen und vor allem langen Betten. Für Wellness und auch Fitness alles vorhanden. Sehr einladend und auch sehr zu empfehlen. Dazu eine sehr große Terrasse oder Balkon mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf die Bucht von Hermanus. Tolles und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben.

Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden! Es war alles perfekt.

Luxurious, relaxing and perfect.

This is a luxury boutique property in a beautiful location. Because of its small size you receive undivided attention and are extremely well taken care of.

There is absolutely nothing not to love and enjoy about this property.

Peaceful, feels like home. We were treated like family by the host and Thembi - she is very special

We were surprised with the friendliness of Thembi every morning. Even during the day. Every day we had some special treats in the room. Room size was very big and it did feel if we were home. Bathroom was also very comfortable.

overall the stuff are incredible and made the stay positive.

Aesthetically pleasing, beautifully presented with lots of characters and good quality finishes

the parking is inconvenient, the owner (female) isn’t very friendly. The place only serves breakfast but doesn’t provide the convenience of a microwave and cutlery if you decide to order. if you need your food warmed it will be charged. breakfast is limited not much of a variety.

we had a lovely stay

stunning views, old style manor and very well maintained with rooms hyper-equipped. The pool and breakfast area are a treat for the eye and very nice

the accomodation was not easy to find because there is no outside indication of the name of the hotel. It is a rather small scale residence and much smaller than photos suggest and a rather small scale controlling mentality of the staff. Due to electricity blackout we could not use the bubbly baths in the room which was a pitty.

Did not like that the hostess ask me if I can leave the room early so they can clean for the next guest.. I'm also a guest so it was strange.

Excellent and value for money!

The Location is really great, central to all the amenities and Thembi at reception was absolutely excellent! To be honest she is the most friendly and helpful receptionist I have ever encountered!

Superb and will return as soon as we can.

We loved the entire experience of being pampered and looked after in every aspect. The hostess, Thembi, was superb and really made us feel at home. The room was eceptional and we really enjoyed the facilities.

Wonderful experience, definitely worth doing again.

The place is beautiful and the staff is friendly and professional. Our room was spacious with a big(and beautiful) bathroom, definitely 5 star. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Staff made extra effort to make our stay there a memorable one.

Quiet, clean, lavish Suite with sea view and fantastic breakfast more than exceeded expectations!

The Grand Lux sea view is really something to experience - both by day and at night. Sunrise over the ocean is a magical golden show and moon rise at night with the shimmering moonlight on the waves is truly mesmerizing. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for me and the Grand Lux breakfast is better than I desired! My Suite was very clean, well decorated with great attention to detail. The sea view is the best ever - Grand Lux is well worth the visit and excellent value for money given the luxury and friendly service!

A luxurious haven of tranquility to relax and recharge in comfort next to the sea shore!

I needed a quiet break in a truly luxurious establishment where I will receive special treatment and Grand Lux exceeded my expectations - the attention to detail amazed me. I ordered dinner and was more than pleased by the professional presentation of a very good meal. I gym every day and Grand lux has a very big and very clean swimming pool next to the gym. The quality and selection of gym equipment is really of a very high standard and I could exercise in peace and quiet - just as I wanted.

Everything was perfect!
