I’ve never been to Swansea before and it was a pleasure to stay in the area called Mumbles which is attractive. The hotel building itself is beautiful; I stayed in the annex. The breakfast room is huge and the staff there were friendly and efficient. Delicious cooked breakfast and well stocked Buffett too. Coffee, pastries , fresh fruit salad all excellent and appreciated.

Having stayed here over many years, we enjoy the familiarity, and the knowledge that we can always park the car! The location is good for us. The food is always good. Staff are normally friendly and willing to help.

Arrived early and upon request we were allowed to accommodate our room immediately, everything was perfect from the staff to the delicious food

As a couple we stayed 3 nights, first time in Swansea area and happy with choice of hotel. Room comfortable but in a separate block, rather than main building, note almost all of the room photos are for the main building not annex rooms which lack character. Comfortable walk to town, beaches, local eateries. Minor gripes, needed to lock main room door to remain shut.

A short break to catch up with family and friends after prolonged absence due to the pandemic. We have used this hotel for over 20 years now, the location for us is excellent. During that time we've experienced many changes at the hotel, most good, unfortunately some not so good!

Good car park and breakfast. Annoyed that restaurant was not open on either of the nights we stayed and were told it would be open again on the day we left. As we had several emails before we travelled that should of been highlighted to us before we arrived. Hooks on back of bathroom door were dangerous as stuck out too far and my husband walked into them during the night and hurt his head.

Hotel was in a lovely location with views of the coast and being close to the centre which was within walking distance. All the staff were lovely and very welcoming, and the food was excellent.

I stayed in one of the rooms adjacent to the hotel and it was very nice to be greeted to a sea view through the French Window type door. The room was fine, nice bathroom and shower and extremely comfortable bed and pillows Would have preferred a chair and more places to put things on but not a major issue. Just had the continental breakfast which was pretty good.

I visit Swansea two or three times a year, and always stay at Norton House. The standards are high, the evening meals good value and excellent quality, the rooms are comfortable and spotless. The private cart park is so important in a busy city where many hotels use public car parks.
